After eating sausages, sauerkraut, and potatoes for 10 days, I told my husband I needed some other kind of ethnic food. I found this restaurant on Unilocal and we decided to give it a try. We were both so glad we did. The food was excellent, and so was the service. I had paneer and my husband had chicken tikka, both were very flavorful and just what we had hoped for. The name has been changed to India Gate and there is new management. The have high chairs for little ones as well. We definitely be back if we are back in this part of town. Highly recommend!

i tried this place with my colleagues for lunch after an eventful morning. :) This place is not big splashing and glamorous but a decent one though. Highlight is the lunch, which is really cool and quite inexpensive. You get a choice of salad with your lunch menu and the main dish to choose from. You can also order wheat bread or nan bread along with your main course. the food was quite decent and not very spicy nor very sweet. well balanced. it has decent sizing and not very spacious but not very cramped as well. location wise its little isolated but there are many offices around it and often during lunch time its packed. service was nice and impressive. In short, if you don’t want to sepnd a hefty amount on Indian food and still want to enjoy indian delicacy then do hit this place.

Excellent service, superb dishes, authentic Indian spice, various drink options all at an economic price. We had a memorable Christmas dinner here, visiting from the US. Will make a point to return to Rama on any return trip to Munich.

Great Indian food, and Germany beer, about as good a combination as one could ask for. Mobbed on a Wednesday night, which speaks to its popularity. Spiced for the Germany palate so if you’re a fan of more spicy, ask for it, but be prepared for what you get. I ate at their Ismaning branch, but I would expect the Munich operation to be much the same.

The worst Indian food I’ve ever had. The meal here lacked flavour and was salty rather than spicy. Service was relatively fast and friendly, but we were the only people in the restaurant so I cannot really judge. Cannot recommend it.
