La parillada de mariscos lo mejor. Con media porción comen dos y sobra. Abundante. Pescado en el punto justo. Mariscos bien condimentados. La panera es muy buena y las salsitas y escabches que la acompañan también (de pollo y pescado) Lo único criticable sería que la comida no llegó lo suficientemente caliente. Tuvimos que mandar de vuelta las espinacas a la crema para que las calentaran. Sacando eso, excelente.

Fervor es una buena opción de parrilla en un lugar muy lindo de Recoleta.
Más allá de ser un lugar donde cuidan la calidad de los ingredientes y la atención, Fervor se destaca del resto de los restaurants de su clase por dos cosas: la parrillada de mar con mariscos y pescados, y los helados caseros que son imperdibles. También debo mencionar la panera que esta también muy buena.

The Alvear Art reserved this for us and it was generally a good steer. We were promptly presented with a nice table at the banquette on the main floor.
Our waiter insisted we have a cabernet instead of the Malbec we chose. Were they out of it? The cabernet was good, and the same price as the Malbec, but it was an odd thing to do.
Your bread basket is presented with a small assortment of savory hors d’oeuvres. These are delicious. (To avoid a mistake I am not going to speculate on exactly what they are.)
Our main starter, mollejas (sweetbreads), were among the best I have had at an Argentine restaurant, perfectly grilled, crispy at the edges, divine in their simplicity. The swiss chard fritters were less successful, heavy, slightly larger than golf balls, one gets left behind.
The 600g ojo de bife, absolutely medium rare, makes up for it. More flavorful than corn fed American beef, and more tender than any grass fed steak I had eaten previously, if this was the only main course, you would be looking at five stars. The grilled seafood combination was not as good. Primarily shrimp and chewy octopus, it just didn’t sparkle. A generous side of grilled vegetables also pleased, the other side was less than memorable.
We were offered a free glass of limoncello at departure. Nice touch.
The bill is about ½ what it would be at an American steakhouse at this level. Many Americans were enjoying the bargain, but locals were here as well, and the ratio changes as the evening progresses.
Overall a very good meal, with solid, professional service, four stars.

One of the fancier restaurants the city has to offer.
We showed up to the restaurant around 8:30p without a reservation and they quickly enough seated us up stairs but not without making it seem like we were lucky to get seated (not that they were snobby, but that it was «rare» a walk in could be accommodated).
Nothing too memerable regarding dinner.

The steak is great here and the service is out of this world. I recommend getting the sirloin steak with a side of mash potatoes. Their meats are juicy and delicious. I would definitely come here again!

A quick nap after such a lengthy flight I was all ready for Fervor and as a recommendation from a friend I was not disappointed. The place is adorable and although really busy at 9pm, they kindly make the wait a little more enjoyable by offering you a complimentary glass of champagne.
Of course when in Buenos Aires, you eat the steak and you drink the Malbec. The steak was fantastic. Cooked perfectly. The wine I originally wanted to order was gone, however, our server offered us a suggestion and it complimented the meal well. My 4 stars stems from the wait (despite having reservations) and the sides lacking flavor. But, ordering their tiramisu solidified I’d 100% return to this place if I ever found myself in BA again.

Fuimos con la familia, el lugar es muy lindo y la atención excelente. La especialidad es la cocina a las brasas, así que lo mejor es pedir pescados (la parrillada es muy rica) a la plancha, pulpo, etc. La carne es muy recomendable, es muy tierna porque está madurada con tiempo y frío (aged). En acompañamiento recomiendo verduras grilladas. De postre volcán de chocolate o helados artesanales, el de mandarina un manjar. Punto flojo es que hay mucho olor a comida.

Lugar ambientado elegantemente, con atención muy cordial y profesional, y con platos 10 puntos. Si te gustan los pescados y mariscos, recomiendo ciegamente la parrillada de mar. A la hora del postre, pedí que te hagan probar sus helados artesanales!

Lugar altamente recomendable, muy buena atención y ambiente, uno se siente muy cómodo. La comida es exquisita, recomiendo las entrañas, es una porción muy generosa y verdaderamente exquisita. Voy seguido y seguiré yendo.

El fervor es un restaurante que queda en Recoleta, muy tipico y bello.
Una carta completa: La especialidad las carnes. Aunque en el menú aparezca toda una página de pescados, hay que preguntar cuál de ellos tienen.
Los platos son para compartir. Pedimos un revuelto de gramajo y nos trajeron un omelette de queso y jamón, las papas separadas. Rarisimo
El lugar es bastante caro, quizás lo valga, no lo sé. La entraña que pedí estaba bastante buena pero no se si para ese precio.
Para el postre pedí un mini Rogel: galletitas con helado de dulce de leche, medio pelo.
Compartan: abarata costo ja y se aprovecha porque las porciones son muy grandes

Una muy cara pero grata experiencia.
Cenar en Fervor pareciera ser garantía de «una noche en la que todo va a salir bien».
La comida es excelente! La parrillada de mariscos se lleva todos los premios. Igualmente siempre es bueno escuchar las recomendaciones del chef. (Muy buena atención).
Los postes son un capítulo aparte. Sobre todo los helados artesanales de elaboración propia.
La única contra que le encontré es el tamaño reducido de los espacios. Por momentos parecía que estábamos compartiendo la conversación con los comensales de las mesas vecinas. Pero es todo tan rico que uno puede permitirse pasar por alto ese detalle.
Cuentan con servicio de valet parking.

Can’t say enough good words about this place. We went to Fervor the last night of our trip to BA, and we wished we had every meal here! Service was very attentive and the language barrier was not an issue at all. Highly recommend the filet, and you can’t go wrong with any wine on the menu. When we are back in BA, we will be back at this place! Great ambiance and a really good vibe.

I visited this restaurant last year while visiting Buenos Aires. I found it so good that I put it on my list of restaurants that I had to try again.
The setting is beautiful, built to look like the dinning room of a vintage cruise ship. The chandelier that hangs from the ceiling of the second floor over the main dinning room. Made of vintage silver from a retired vessel.
The wait staff is very helpful and some speaks English. The first time I chose to try the various cuts of beef. This time I elected to try the salmon. They offered several options for seafood. The Salmon was excellent and rather large in size for what you would typically get in the states.

So glad we chose Fervor last night.
Everything about our meal was just right.
No reservation, but our wait was short.
Plus free champagne! so we didn’t abort.
The menu– extensive– large meat section.
The lomo I picked was cooked to perfection.
The Tiramisu was light and not too sweet.
Cappuccinos served with appropriate heat.
Servers were professional, made us smile.
Attentive and kind, went the extra mile.

After reading all the great reviews and a hotel recommendation, we decided to try Fervor on our last day in Buenos Aires. The entire restaurant was filled with tourists, not a single Argentinian. The waiters all spoke excellent English. We ordered bife de chorizo and what we had was very tasty, but not the best steak of our 2 week stay. The minute I was done with my steak, the waiter cleared the table of my plate and bread, even though we still had sides that we were eating. When the bill came, we did not have the exact change and put in large bills. We did not get any change and when asked, the waiter thought that was his tip. I found the entire experience to be extremely unrelaxing and the worst restaurant of our trip.

This is probably the second best steak I’ve ever had in my life. I woke up dreaming about it. I never, never order filet mignon (lomo) as it doesn’t have enough flavor for me in the US. This place has an amazing exception to this. Coupled with great service (did take way too long to get the bill), and a fair wine list, I’ll go here every time I find myself within an hours trip. Simple and amazing!

fervor es un restaurant que me genera mucha ambivalencia.
por un lado es el mejor lugar para comer pescado de todo buenos aires. la parrillada de pescados y mariscos es algo que no se consigue en ninguna otra parte de la urbe porteña, es una delicia al paladar.
esto se acompaña de una esmerada carta de vinos, unos postres de primera (los helados son caseros y son estupendos).
o sea que a nivel puramente gastronomico es un restaurant top top, sin dudas de los mejores a los que se puede ir.
el lugar es lindo, con una planta inferior y un nivel superior que balconea la parte de abajo, pero es un poco ruidoso porque hay mas mesas de las que deberia.
los mozos son expertos, hacen lo que deben, cuando deben y como deben sin ser invasivos.
los precios son caros, pero un restaurant de pescado en pleno recoleta no podria esperar menos.
lo que me genera cierta ambivalencia es el perfil de gente que lo suele visitar.
se ve mucho oligarca de campo, mucha vieja copetuda de recoleta. de esos que te miran de arriba abajo. te sentis todo el tiempo juzgada, como si fueras sapo de otro pozo.
pero si podes hacer la vista gorda y cerrar los oidos para escuchar los comentarios de los vecinos entonces sera una grata experiencia.
el tema es la cercania de las mesas, que por esto es un problema.

Fervor es un resto distinto. Es un lindo lugar, con una decoración muy original.
Es en forma de barco, es una planta baja y primer piso, este ultimo tiene una baranda que lo bordea y te da la sensación de estar en un barco.
Abajo tiene barra para esperar.
Al mediodía es mas tranquilo que a la noche, la noche es bastante ruidosa porque se llena bastante.
Tiene muy buena cocina, tiene parrilla y pescados a las brasas. Su parrillada de mariscos no tiene desperdicio al igual que el salmón grillado.
Además de destacarse en la cocina, no puedo dejar de mencionar sus ricos postres, en especial el tiramisu y algo que probé por primera vez ahí, el helado de pomelo.
La atención es excelente, mozos dedicados, que conocen bien la carta, y las preparaciones. Son atentos sin volverse molestos.
El precio es algo elevado, pero acorde a sus platos y atención.
