All About Time

Once upon a time… he he he :) Watch makers, repairers were in a abundance, so where are they now ?? Unfortunately small businesses who are dedicated in specific things as these, are slowly getting pushed out and most Watch or Jewellery shops for repairs now are saying… sorry but we have to send it off for repair.
So where and who is it really going to ??
Watch repairers are dedicated technicians, engineered with an understanding so unique as it would constructing a 200 storey monument of any kind, with so many different elements and precision so accurate to make it all work.
I have had a few bad experiences when it came to my personal favourite watches and Jewellery, the sentimental value is worth more than the cost, especially when its handed down the family line from generations or from extraordinary special personal moments which just goes to show that time is endless and so precious…
This shop All About Time, was a breath of fresh air, which came not only with knowledge that todays shops lack, but a personal insight beyond most services today, where you feel safe and trusted knowing your favourite special piece no matter how old or new is been taken with great care, while you wait on the spot (Rare).
In this case, being a battery and not a specialised part to be sent in Pheeeew !!
From my last experience, when I walk into a watch shop less than 4 months ago, just to discover my 2 watches from new having its 1^st repair wasn’t very professional and the battery’s supposedly replaced needed replacing again ?? and also another quote same day different shop, an amateur in this Jewellery shop handles your $ 400 watch and places it face down on there glass counter without a Jewellery mat… ??
Uuuuum I’d be rethinking where I should really be going for repairs :)
