I always love coming to Bronte for brunch. I feel that the cafes in Bronte have a pretty high turnover with new ones popping up fairly often, right after one dies. I tried Bronte Lounge for the first time this morning and was fairly happy for it. I mean, let’s face it, you come to Bronte for the atmosphere and not necessarily for the quality of the food. So, when it’s all said and done, I would happily come to Bronte Lounge again. The Eggs Salmontine(Eggs Benedict with Salmon) were pretty good. It was rather large and had a good helping of smoked salmon on it, which made me pretty happy. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked. I do wish that it came with some sort of greenery, especially for $ 14, but I guess you just have to order that on the side. The coffee was really good, and I have to now admit to having had two. The service was rather slow, even though there weren’t that many people there on a Monday morning, but not-great service seems to be a trend in Bronte. All in all, a decent place to come if you want to enjoy the amazing views that Bronte has to offer, while you have some food.
