Putrid customer service, over priced and treat customer with disrespect and I was only there for 5 mins, I really wanted to tell them where to go but thought it’s easier to take my $ 3k else where. Totally treated with contempt like I was a fool and a target to rip off. I was surprised that it was the manager who was serving me. So do yourself a favour and look around and avoid this place like the plague.

I wish that there was a lower score than 1 star for Digital Camera Warehouse. The customer service is non-existent, the staff did not communicate to each other(and tell you different things) and there is no ownership of issues. I buy most of my gear from Camera House Leederville who are a dream to deal with, the only reason I tried Digital Camera Warehouse(who charged 10% more than most competition) was they had the item in stock. The whole process was a nightmare and not worth the hassle. If you’re desperate, buy here otherwise try Camera House Leederville.

As they had one of the units of the camera I wanted I tried calling again. They put aside the last unit for me without securing a deposit — made me a little nervous after the previous experience. I went on a week day to collect the camera, when it wasn’t crowded. Usually the place is so crowded that they have at ticket system — a positive. The guys in the shop are very helpful and not pushy at all. There’s no parking — the adjacent Aldi carpark would be your best bet. This is a place to go when you’ve got a shortlist of what you want to buy and are after advice on choosing between them — it’s not a browsing shop.

I went here to purchase a new camera. I went here because they had a very competitive for what I was after. The price was great, the service was good and the employees were very professional and friendly. The only negative thing about this business is there is a ticketing system that you have to use to get service. We had to wait almost 30 minutes just to make a quick purchase. Which was ridiculous! I appreciate the ticketing system if you are after some help and advice in your next big purchase such as a lens or a new camera body. Which it was clear a lot of people were after. However if you know exactly what you want and just run in and buy something really quick, you will pay… with your time. What if I just wanted to buy a new memory card? That would be a 30 minute wait! Maybe a second ticket button to push for people who know what they want might be a good solution? Just a thought. Other then that a very nice camera shop with lots to choose from.
