Wow this little gem ia hidden away… we were great by friendly staff with a huge apology that they were short staffed… thus didnt matter were were served with drinks and then our order then our food… which was yummy

The staff here were very friendly they managed to slot my wife and I in on valentines day after the italian restaurant next door stuffed us around with outrageous set menu prices without telling us. Lovely girl that managed to fit us in was very understanding and actually genuinely wanted help and make sure we were happy. 5 stars just for her help! As for the food, fresh homemade pasta is the first thing I noticed. Had the bosciola and it was nice and creamy and fresh pasta made it even better but slightly on the thick side but still incredible. My wife had bosciola chicken without pasta which we had never heard of but pretty much grilled chicken with mushroom cream sauce. Over all nice night good atmosphere friendly staff good food. I would good again for sure.

Went and had dinner at Il Nido again with a friend who hadn’t been there before. It was just as good as I remember it. We both had the veal marsala which wasn’t very adventurous of us but we cleared the plates. We had desserts and a glass of wine each and it came to about $ 70 if I am not mistaken. Very good value. Another aquaintance was there and they were extolling the virtues of the food as well. A good night was had by all. Amanda came and spoke to us, as she did with most people. It makes you feel connected somehow to the restaurant when they take the time to do that.
