Found in Caulfield Plaza — several smaller eateries, bakeries and shops surrounding a major food outlet — it’ very hard to take a busines like this seriously. Offering Indonesian and Asian food is their only real point of difference. The products you get from here can be found in said large food outlet for around the same price, and without the uncertainty of what’s really going on. This unsettling feeling can sometimes be exciting — like an adventure — but sadly it rubs me the wrong way here. The takeaway food on offer is ok, better take away than you will find in the shopping centre, but you’d be crazy not to simply walk outside and try one of Caulfield’s many restaurants. Many students will use it’s phonecard facilities, so if you find yourself needing to call out of Australia this could be your best bet in Caulfield East.
