my expectations were high due to the number of patrons here on a nightly basis… It’s mainly a student hang out. Anyway had the spicy soft tofu soup and the short rib soup. Both come with a bowl of rice and side condiments. Quite liked the spicy soup. could’ve been better with more seafood. the short ribs … meh! I can do better! I had to add soya sauce and pepper. Just water with ribs and some berrys. I should’ve taken the clue left behind by another patron. She walked away without finishing half of her short rib soup!!! I thought she went to get something but never came back. Hmm It’s a cheap eat and the student community seem to love it. Scanning around after paying the bill it appears their cooked /hotplate dishes are more popular.

Seriously the best cheap eat Korean style! You cannot get any better in flavor, speed of delivery and price than«Let’s Bab». Anything you choose on the menu will absolutely be tasty and cost you peanuts!!! — go for it use the pictures for ocular reference, I cant see anyone being disappointed by what they order. Quick tips: –First come, first serve! There are no reservations at this place, and you can bet your bottom dollar that it will be very busy during usual«eating» times — so if you don’t want to wait for a table avoid 1 and 6pm. –Second, there are no maitre d’s. Its find the table which you think is going to finish soonest and just hover over it till they leave. Be discerning though, because sometimes there may be another bird camping. Best thing is to ask if someone else has already reserved that spot. –Third, you have to get your own utensils and drinks. Left side of the counter –there are cold bottles of water on the bottom. Warm tea in the pot. Wet, but clean utensils on the side. –Fourth, dont bother ordering ahead, unless you are taking out, if you are waiting for a table — food comes out in 10 mins or less — you might be caught with your food without a table. –Fifth, if you are dining alone, be kind, and share your table with others. We’re all here for the food — doubt that you get anyone annoyingly talkative to sit down next to you while you shovel that cheese teboki down your guzzler! –And finally, remember to grab a menu and bring it to your table. Then when you’re ready get up and order and pay at the counter. Take your number and wait patiently. I love eating here — because i get so full on authentic korean food, and it barely leaves a dent in my wallet. What are you waiting for? «LESTBAB»!!!

Let’s Bab is a small restaurant integrated into a strip mall on Warrigal road. They server both Korean and Japanese dishes and are the best bang for your buck when it comes to quick meals and food in general. It is always busy in there, I haven’t been there and not had to wait for a table. All their dishes are prepared fresh and have a great authentic flavour to it. If you can’t get a table they have take out as an option. The only downside to this place is that it is cash only.
