After having read some good reviews on Unilocal we were a bit disappointed. It’s a small shop but the staff are very nice. We ordered grilled fish and chips and a serve of grilled baby octopus. The chips were good but our fish was undercooked. The garlic paste on the fish was also not particularly enticing. The baby octopus was overcooked and the chili sauce did not taste homemade. It is also not particularly cheap. Still looking for a good fish and chips place on the Gold Coast. This was not it.

The shop looks small, but the Food was very good. I ordered 4 prawn cutlets and he threw in an extra one for us, and gave us a complimentary tartare sauce. The chips were perfectly cooked. Staff was friendly and helpful.

«Does anyone do Grilled Fish better?»
Not just your typical fish n chip shop. Frankie and the guys run a very tight ship. Orders come from here there and everywhere, but you are never forgotten and it’s not a long wait. Try and phone ahead.
An extensive menu is on offer including Snacks, Burgers, Meals and Salad which are all well priced. Cash Only!
Tell me where you can find a better Grilled Fish with Garlic Butter on the coast?
