It stinks, it’s unmanned, only one platform to and from the city, not easily seen from Gaffney street making it scary if you’re by yourself or in the dark because of the riff raff that hang out here, limited car parking, infrequent and often delayed train services. Yep, that’s Batman Station. Sounds GREAT, doesn’t it?!
Batman is on the Upfield line, located in between Coburg station (towards the city), and Merlynston station (towards Upfield). So, if you can, try and attend one of these stations over Batman, they’re both still located in Coburg and are much better serviced and more secure.
Just a block up is Sydney rd, so if you’re unable to make the other two train stations, I’d suggest taking the extra five minute walk to the regular, frequent tram services up and down Sydney rd. YOU’VE BEEN DULY WARNED! :)
