Great upbeat restaurant. They definitely make you feel like you’re about to eat healthy! The ingredients they use really are pretty fresh! The price is good for what you’re getting. I noticed a lot of people on dates here, I stayed in the back by myself while I waited. Not sure if I’d take a date here because I remember it being pretty busy and loud… a little more distracting than I prefer. Grill’d could be easy to miss since it’s wedged in between other restaurants and cafes. Just Google or Unilocal! I ordered a chicken sandwich, this was seriously a great meal! Australians sure do love beets however. :) I believe they also serve beer here as well.

Finally went here after meaning to try it since I first moved to sydney. Just to let everyone know, I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to burgers. I’ve tried my fair share and I know what makes a really great burger and this just didn’t make the cut. In order to asses a good burger, the first thing you need to asses is how the meet tastes by itself. You can’t say a burger is good purely based off the toppings. For Grilld, it tasted like I was eating a pre-formed patty that May or not have been frozen at some point. There was no meaty sear on it, or carmelization of the meat, which gets a thumbs down in my book. Moving on, the toppings were decent and I thought they had high quality buns and a lot of options to choose from. I also liked that they had beers from local breweries in bottles. I had a 4 Pines hefeweizen and it was great. I love beer with my burger. Overall, I probably won’t come back. If a friend wanted to eat there I wouldn’t object but it’s just not that good, especially for the price you pay. It was 41 dollars for two burgers and two beers.

It is what it is. .a tasty, freshly cooked burger served on your choice of traditional roll or panini. Chips are seasoned with salt and rosemary. .a tasty twist. My sweet chilli chicken went perfectly with a crisp cold sauvignon. A good place to know about when you’re looking forward to a straightforward tasty meal.

Despite initial skepticism, I loved my «Garden Goodness» veggie burger on the traditional bun(the one with sesame seeds). I have had many, many veggie burgers of many types, this was one of the best I ever had. The patty itself is soft(zuccini?), and it’s the other ingredients like cheese, avocado, etc that turn the burger into a delicious meal. The bun was nicely grilled with a mild crunch on the outside and soft inside. Mmmm, I will be back for that.

Surprisingly good burgers, extremely fresh ingredients(at least that’s what they tasted like) and the fries are worth a try too. If it wasn’t so hard to find parking in that area, I definitely would go more often.

We’ve seen our fair share of burger joints in these parts Grill’d only time will tell if you can stand the pressure… I like the fit out. Your staff and friendly and curiousness Your burgers are in fact what I personally would describe as delicious. Not a bad job Grill’d… Not bad at all.

Relatively simple, delicious burgers. The whole place is easy: easy to order, easy to sit, and easy to get in and out of there. I especially liked the community table at the front in the large, open-air section.

It was a sin that I couldn’t go here more often, after my coworker won a big bunch of 2 for 1 cards, I visited the Darlinghurst store more than I should have. So, although they’re not really ‘healthy’ we say to ourselves that we are being good eating these delicious morsels of juicy beef, layered in sauce and grilled to perfection. The vibe inside this little franchise is really funky, and the mood is matched by the cool, young and friendly staff. The great thing here is that you can pick the bread, the sauce, and order a beer on the side. It’s a great modern burger place, which has a great varied menu. My favourite is the Almighty, with cheese, bacon, egg & beetroot, relish and herbed mayo. Alongside with the hand cut chips with sweet chilli mayo, is the perfect accompaniment

Healthy burgers! That means I can eat them everyday! Yayyy! Or maybe not. But the people at Grill’d do promise that they burgers are«super low in fat» so you can at least feel slightly less guilty about eating one. The friendly staff are also a bonus(I’m a stickler for good service, having worked in hospitality myself) and when your burger arrives, it tastes lovely and fresh. On my last visit, I went with the Summer Sunset($ 11.90) and a side of their delicious, but slightly salty, fries($ 4.30). The burger consisted of an interesting mix of avocado, bacon and pineapple on top of a beef patty, and boy did it work! Big thumbs up to that one. But to be fair, I haven’t had a bad burger there yet, and I doubt I’ll have one that’ll make me turn my nose up. Oh, and they sell beer! Yay!

If you’re like me and at times convince yourself that things like burritos, pizzas and burgers are kinda healthy, but still experience food guilt once you’ve eaten, then you’re going to love Grill’d. Grill’d is a healthy burger bar(honestly!!!). Don’t get me wrong, they are realists in that they don’t pretend to be health food, but rather, healthy food. The philosophy is simple; Grill’d use natural, local produce to make fresh food. Infact, they don’t do home delivery because they believe in the food being as fresh as it can be! The menu has quite a few fancy burger options(like Moroccan Lamb) but I can never go past the ‘Simple Grill’d which is your basic beef, salad and relish($ 8.50).
