Eggs Benedict is good, went for the salmon option. Gluten free options as well make this a great choice. Service was quick and friendly even on a busy morning. The wife had the Vego Brekkie which was really tasty(had a couple of bites myself). Highly recommend the long Mac coffee for a good morning kick.

On the way to Emu Point Café I was told that the view was excellent but not to get my hopes up over the food. Well, that was partially correct — the view was excellent but the food was equally as impressive. The breakfast menu is available from 8am to 11am and consists of the usual café breakfast items you would expect(eggs on toast, avocado veggie breakfast, eggs benedict and a big breakfast). The option that stuck out for me though was the Cilbir eggs — poached eggs with Turkish bread, a garlic yoghurt, basil pesto and lashings of paprika infused oil. Absolutely delicious. They have a selection of fresh pressed juices(which I think would have cut through my meal better than the double espresso I ordered) and a counter of cakes and other sweet breakfast items. All in all, I was very impressed and will definitely be back(and I will probably order the same again!).

Pleasantly surprised. They serve brekky and lunch. Brekky goes till 11 and then lunch at 1130. Had burgers which were very tasty and ham and cheese toastie very good. Chips r crisp and seasoned well. The coffee was excellent. The venue inside and outside eating with great views of the water plus a small park for kiddos. Beach in front to go and visit but no bathers allowed at the café. Recommend !!

Be aware that they stop serving lunch at 3pm. We arrived at 3:02 and they did not want to serve us despite the fact that we drove here for at least half an hour…

Emu Point Café is a trendy little café located right on Emu Point and serves up a delicious breakfast or lunch. After a morning playing at the beach this is a fantastic place to come and enjoy a meal, you can sit in the air conditioning and feel refreshed or sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the park. I’d highly recommend the banana bread, served with blueberries, it was so yummy and filled me up the rest of the morning! If you are in need of a big breakfast you will not be disappointed as they give you all the trimmings using local produce and don’t hold back on the servings! Their coffee is made with care and if you are ordering a takeaway it’s not a bad place to sit and wait as you can watch the rays skim across the water. The service is friendly, and though they are constantly busy, they don’t leave you waiting unnecessarily long. A great place to come and enjoy!
