Without a doubt the best iced long black I’ve may have ever had. I am visiting Melbourne for work and went for a jog and when I was finished I stopped here. I only brought my AMEX with you which Burnside doesn’t accept. The barista told me not to worry about it and pay them back next time I was there. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow and pay them back and have another great coffee. Thanks guys!

This was once a dark dingy corner with questionable coffee quality on the inside. Burnside has flipped the offering completely on its head, with a bright and open fit out that welcomes you in as if being drawn in to a friends open arms.
There’s (very good) coffee from Seven Seeds and simple toasties and pastries to keep the wolf from the door. Don’t come expecting poached eggs and more elaborate fare, because it’s all simple and easy eat-​with-​your-​hands type food on offer.
With tram stops just outside the door, these guys are already doing a brisk morning trade and they’ve only been open a week! Pull up a chair and stay for a while if you can. The fitout is happy and you’ll leave with a slightly larger than normal spring in your step after hanging out here for a while listening to the good tunes in the sunshine.
