Mr Foxx

This café is a family owned business. A lovely father and mother while the kids would usually help out during the weekends.
As I walked into Mr Foxxx I got a sense of accomplishment radiating around me. It wasn’t me but the café itself. As I looked around at the dark wooden brown coloured environment, I felt warm and a sense of belonging (am I going crazy?). Don’t judge a book by its cover because it may look like a small place but it is big with an outside sitting area, inside of course, a back outdoor sitting area (Great for summers!) and upstairs for overflow/​big groups/​reservations. Day in, day out… there wasn’t a day that went by that didn’t tell me how well established the place is in the area. Single people, couples, families folk to this place especially during the weekends! Great for brunches, they also have really good breakie and lunch menu so don’t hesitate to come down. What is more impressive is that their customer service is at a level of a 5 star restaurant. Very polite, conversation starters, opening doors, smiles on their faces and the good old «goodbye have a nice day» or «goodbye see you next time.». I came in for breakie and got the egg of the day which was a «Chili con carne» with 2 eggs and 2 dollops of avocado, a slice of buttered sourdough bread and as an extra on the side I got salmon. Once it hit my table, I could smell the goodness and by the time I devoured it, I had forgotten to take some pictures to share with everyone!
What I got from this place is that they are professionals. They know where their customers sit without asking you for the table number and make the effort to remember faces. They seem to make it personal and give that personal touch that some don’t do anymore.

The atmosphere is nice and it’s always a good start to the morning.

This place is awesome! The pea pancakes are one of my favourite breakfast dishes in Melbourne. Coffee is also among the best I have had. Definitely a regular haunt from now on.

I had a friend bring me here on the promise of great coffee and a meal that will cure any hangover. And man was he was correct.
The food was soo tasty and the coffee did not lack any taste, in fact it was perky and hot and did the trick on a cold sunday morning!
Come one Come all and check out the little gem on Malvern Road, but be prepared for a little wait as this joint is happening.

Popular with the weekend family brunchers, this place is deceptively big. Not much of a wait if you do have to wait for a table and quite frankly they are pumping out some delicious coffee.
They would totally get 5 stars if they had more feta on the avocado with feta smash. Just not enough.

Stopped in for a quick coffee on the run.
Not only were they quick to produce 2 large skinny lattes. The Latte’s were made to perfection at just the right temperature and tasted great
