Every now and again I’m laden with my godfather’s son. Let the jury hear that I’m not THIS boy’s godfather. That honour went to my second cousin. The very same second cousin who never has to deal with the little brat. Cruel, I know. But I’m sure we’ll get along when he’s older. Anyway, when I’m stuck with him I feel guilty setting him in front of the television or computer, and that guilt drives me to take him out where he can grow into a human being, and not a robot. I usually prefer to take him to outdoor places that don’t hurt my wallet, but I’m afraid of the few universal truths in this world, this is one of them: nothing beats Kiddie Cove. I think I get about as excited as the children do. The colours, the characters, the activities… it’s really quite spectacular. If you suffered an unwanted pregnancy, or are burdened with a child not of your own blood, take them here and leave them here. If you really like the child, or have obligations to your godfather, take them here for a little while, and you’ll bring them back brighter than they went in.

Like Mario, I’m not a parent. But I’m an uncle, and I’m a teacher, so dealing with kids on a day to day basis has been ‘my thing’ for quite some time, so whenever friends need kids looked after, I’m the one that tends to get the call. And this place is where I sometimes end up. It’s worth checking out, it’ll make your life that much more pleasant for a good hour or two. And it’s a nice place to be.
