I am such a big fan of Vietnamese and was so excited to find Huyen Linh close by one night when I was experiencing a major craving.
There’s a particularly pork dish I order almost each time at a place in the city, but unfortunately there was nothing like that on the menu here.
Ordering take out I decided on beef and vegetable noodles. Pleasantly surprised at the speedy and friendly service, and salivating at the aroma on the drive home, I was left a little disappointed at how surprisingly bland it tasted considering the scent it was leaving in the car! The flavourless taste had something to do with how watery the sauce was. Great beef, noodles and vegies though.
Not bad and worth it every now and again, just don’t expect authentic flavoursome Vietnamese the way it should be.
