Nando’s

Firstly Terrible service. Potion sizes are way too small. Chip size bags on display are not the actual size, be warned. Tenderloins are the tiniest of tiny, not enough for small 4 year old. Nandos hawthorn was so good before, don’t know what’s happened but I won’t be back!

Best Nandos we’ve had in a while. The service was great and the chips are yum! Great Sunday relaxed luncheon venue! Would be nice if lettuce were free though and didn’t cost $ 6!

I’m sad because everyone who I’ve spoken to about Nando’s vouches for its deliciousness.
LIES. ALL OF THEM.
This is my first experience with Nando’s and I do have to say that it was a one big fat disappointment. Maybe it was the hype or the tempting posters advertising peri-​peri chicken with a side of chips. Whatever it was, I’m not impressed.
~ The chicken was a bit too dry, but the flavouring was good.
~ The chips were a bit too overcooked.
~ It also would’ve been a lot better if the seasoning was cooked into the chips. The powder is just dunked on, which makes it a lot more of a cheap copout flavouring.
Maybe this Nando’s in particular is just bad, but oh well. I’m not keen on trying it again. For the prices, you can get something a lot better in quality from elsewhere.
