Such a delightful experience! Beautiful savory tasters followed by amazing desserts (definitely a highlight!)
A couple of things, they are very hard to get hold of via phone, they never answer it. So contact via email.
They wanted to squeeze me next to another lady and her mum even though there was plenty of room to make things more comfortable. (They are large share tables).
And it is very loud, don’t expect a nice quiet afternoon.
But back to the food and drinks, tea selection was amazing, I’m not a big tea drinker, but tried 2 and I enjoyed them both.
Started with cucumber sandwiches, then moved onto a selection of 4 savouries, followed by a sorbet popsicle to refresh the pallet and then 4 desserts, finishing with some nougat.
I can’t remember what everything was, but look at the photos, that should give you an idea of servings and presentation.

I have gone to High Tea twice now, once in their old location in Northbridge and once at their new location in Highgate which is much better and bigger!
I have no complaints about High Tea, it’s an amazing event to be shared with close friends, and like us, for no reason other than we wanted to dress up and go out for good food! Each dish is prepared with love and is so delicately presented and full of flavour.
I love that it’s BYO as well but a shame it’s just champagne, I know that’s the point of high tea but I would’ve loved a glass of wine. But the service was so efficient and friendly and they always were filling our glasses.
The only downside is the large round table that you share with others, you’re a little too close to other groups which can make it hard to talk. There are taller benches that you share that have more room and looked a bit better than where we sat.
All in all, worth the money and a fun and lovely afternoon.

I went to Rochelle Adonis for High Tea with my bridal party. I went there because a friend recommended it and said it was the best high tea she had been to. I was not disappointed. Everything about this place compliments the divine experience of high tea. The décor, the food, the crockery and cutlery, the settings. Everything was amazing, I can’t fault it. The staff were excellent. A great thing about Rochelle Adonis is they allow you to bring you’re own bubbles so I popped in before our booking and dropped a bottle of Moët which they kept cold for me. They also offer other things like cake decorating classes etc and they have a variety of things for sale and offer services like wedding cakes. The only thing that was missing was scones. There were no scones in the high tea, I think scones jam and cream are a standard in high tea, in saying that all the food and teas with the high tea were exquisite. If you are looking for a standout high tea, this is a great place to visit.

Its been a while since i had High Tea. Oh well, how fancy.
My girlfriend & I haven’t seen each other in ages & decided we should catch up over High Tea. We researched a couple of places, we both agreed we should try Rochelle Adonis & I’m glad we did.
Upon arriving, I saw a few tables under the trees with roses in vases in the front yard, immediately, i was smitten. I was excited.
We were welcomed by a staff member & seated at the communal table (which we had been informed earlier). Loved the marble table tops & its beautiful table settings. Ambience is very relaxing & elegant. Im glad i dressed up & with a string of pearls around my neck, i felt like royalty. Our waitress is attentive & very informative over every course we had. I savoured & enjoyed every single bite. I ate like the French, slowly & enjoying every flavour that’s dancing in my mouth. Now I know why French women are never fat.
The 2 hour session has come & gone really quickly. I guess when you’re enjoying yourself & eating fabulous food, you savour every moment.
Theres only 1 thing i would change. That is maybe not everyone is accepting to sit at the communal table. Maybe some 2 – 4 seats per table would be nice for the nice intimate meal between lovers or good mates with beautiful table settings & nice comfy couches.
I would really love to go back as they change their menu monthly. Cant wait for the next time.

High Tea is my new obsession! Since America doesn’t have high tea I was ecstatic once I found out Australia does it on the reg. Everyone told me to go to Rochelle Adonis and I was not disappointed!
Everything is greatly handcrafted and delicious! The tea was absolutely tasty… I had the chai tea and English breakfast. I loved the palate cleanser Popsicles! The atmosphere was great and I love the traditional high tea décor!
I would highly suggest going during the weekday since it was more quiet :)

Beautiful high tea. So unique and elegantly done. All of the china is vintage English china and mismatched to perfection. I definitely enjoyed the sweet treats better than the savory, but that’s what they’re known for!
I did have some problems with booking. Even though I booked wayyyy ahead of time and confirmed, my booking was still not at the right time, but they went ahead and squeezed us in no problems, which was really nice.
The only downsides are that you do table share and once your time slot is up, you must move on out, so don’t plan on spending too much time here!

We don’t do high tea in Canada, yet another British tradition lost over years. I have heard of high teas and always thought that it would be a really fun girly day out with the ladies, and I was right.
Rochelle Adonis is everything I envisioned a high tea to be and more. I love the super girly atmosphere, the over the top beautiful cakes and tarts, and the pretty china (that you can buy if you are ever stumped for a gift for mum in law!)
They also offer cooking classes so if you ever wanna learn how to be a boss in the cake making department of life, I would strongly suggest you check this place out!
Also Rochelle is Canadian which makes me love this place even more!

Having been here for High tea twice, attended her «house warming» party and enjoyed a dessert dego on Valentines Day… the kitchen never places a foot wrong. They adapt to my dietary requirement without fuss and all dishes are so immaculately presented. I look forward to returning AGAIN!

I can’t attest to their previous venue, however I do think they have done a great job I’m transforming their current space in a den of pleasures; with rooms that are airy and yet have shear curtains to create smaller spaces and a level of privacy for groups.
The real star is of course the delectable sweet treats which you can enjoy either at as the café or for the ultimate indulgence as a high tea!
If you have yet to try it I recommend the café as there is more choice over both what to eat and how much so you can avoid the sugar overload; however there are some signature dishes that can only be experienced via the high tea and it really is a must to try once for all Perthians who enjoy their sweets.

I came here for a Hens party yesterday with a group of 15. We had a gorgeous table setting with all different vintage teacup sets and cutlery. The atmosphere of the place was very girly and the perfect setting for a hens party or a birthday. It’s BYO champagne at $ 10 per bottle.
We were served a plate of four small savory dishes which were tasty, although a couple of people didn’t eat seafood and there was one fish dish so we should have specified that beforehand. We also had one cucumber sandwich each. I order a pot of English breakfast tea which was delicious. Then they served is a plate of four small sweet dishes and another pot of tea if we wished.
Everything was tasty, but as they go by season, themes etc two of the desserts were fruit cakes which many of is didn’t like so that was a bit disappointing.
I thought this place was very pretty and nice but, unlike many other high teas, I didn’t leave feeling full and wanted to eat more. It was $ 49 a head and I did feel as though I would have liked more food for my money. But you are more paying for the experience, atmosphere and setting. In saying that, some of the other girls had been there before and remarked that the food was better last time they had gone there so maybe we were just unlucky with the season!

Filled with oestrogen, this place has the most gorgeous, lavish cakes and sweet treats. With its picture perfect elegance and luxury, it’s a girl’s paradise!
The high tea ($ 49) offers 2 pots of tea or French press coffee and a savoury and sweet course of 4 nibbles as well as a sorbet icy-​pole palette cleanser.
The two large marble communal tables are decorated with mix-​match china floral teacups, large crystal water decanters and pastel rose arrangements, think minimalistic, French chic style.
The menu changes weekly to keep in trend with local fruit and vegetables. We started off in typical high class British style with cucumber and dill aioli sandwiches– light and refreshing for the main savoury platter to come. The savoury plate was an array of canapé sized nibbles. I loved the rich purple carrot and ginger soup, beetroot and goat’s cheese sponge and the contemporary take on fish and chips with a pea sauce. For the desserts I could have licked my plate clean of the raspberry and lycée soufflé as well as the chocolate salted caramel ice-​cream and sticky coconut rice ball with a tangy mango sauce served in an Asian style spoon.

Put simply, high tea at Rochelle Adonis is one of the loveliest things to do in Perth with friends. ‘Elegant’, ‘decadent’ and ‘intimate’ are terms that come to mind when I try to sum up the experience. Tucked in behind an unassuming shopfront on Brisbane Street, the small space is perfect for a high tea experience where food and conversation both have equal importance. Seated on comfortable stools around two high tables of 12 or one large table of 20, the food is brought out and announced by the thoughtful wait staff, who are focused on making people feel welcome.
The food is exceptional and, on each occasion that I have been, one of the highlights of conversation is discussing which of the savoury plate and sweet plate items is each guest’s favourite: everyone differs, and that is a good sign! The menu changes daily. Seasonal ingredients are carefully, delicately crafted and every serving is small… but don’t be deceived! By the time you have finished eating several petite savoury items plus a palate cleanser (home-​made sorbet) plus several ‘tiny’ sweets… well, just make sure you wear a fabric that ‘gives’ a bit, ok?
In terms of drinks, two pots of tea or coffee are part of the $ 49 charge for high tea. The teas are beautiful and I can highly recommend the chai tea and the Turkish apple — divine.
One one occasion, I went with a friend who is both gluten-​free and vegetarian. The friend contacted Rochelle well in advance to advise of her dietary needs, and she was treated with beautiful food made especially for her.
The display case at the front of the shop is full of goodies baked by the team at Rochelle Adonis to take home and share with family. My problem has always been that I’m too full to buy anything at the end of high tea!
I will return to Rochelle Adonis for high tea again and again — but not too often… just to keep it special!

Just had a chocolate and butterscotch cake that I brought home. It’s going into my top five favourite cakes list for sheer velvety luxury!

No scones, no cupcakes and no boring biscuits. Rochelle Adonis is a high tea experience with far more spectacle and imagination than that!
The setting — floral tea-​sets, pretty silverware and bouquets of roses — is what you’d expect from a high tea experience, but the food is more like a fine degustation. Rochelle is an ambrosia magician.
$ 45pp will buy you endless pots of special or traditional teas and coffee; and two food courses — one savoury and one sweet.
Each «course» is comprised of four artisan morsels. Of the savoury nibs I had a war with myself picking a favourite between the creamed pea soup shot or the pork belly with apple chip, pork rillette, quince purée and another unidentified applely-​essenced formation.
For dessert the puff-​pastry galette is what really knocked my socks off. Golden flaky pastry set with caramelised peach and topped with some earth movingly delicious dollop of a burnt caramel clotted cream. Holy wow!

With all the sweet stunning desserts floating about Perth how are we ever going to be thin? Rochelle Adonis of course is no exception. The desserts are not only tempting slices of gooey chocolate and cheesey bases, they are decadent and luxurious.
I am not suggesting that you come here after every chocolate craving, you really should embrace the wait for your next visit and it will taste even sweeter.
Oh Rochelle, why do you do this to us?

Oh Rochelle, Rochelle, your commitment to excellence in all things of the sweet variety flaws me every time I venture in your wonderful shop. The Northbridge store has grown a reputation for top class treats served in an elegant yet sophisticated setting reminiscent of a bygone era.
I struggle to think of a better way to celebrate a girly catch up than by having high tea with friends. Be prepared for a sugar overload as the sweets on offer are packed with deliciousness. The concentrated, intense flavour of the selection of treats available have been for the most part lovingly hand crafted. This is reflected in the price of the offerings but it is worth spoiling yourself. Friendly staff dish up the goods and pamper you with all things sugary. Get down and discover the gift that is Rochelle Adonis.
Ps. I tried really hard to think of Seinfeld reference for this review but just couldn’t work out how to tweak «A young girl’s strange, erotic journey from Milan to Minsk» to suit confectionery or cake.

And I thought you had to be in England to experience a proper high tea… Apparently not. Who would have thought that our little Perth would have such a place as Rochelle Adonis?
Money may not equate to happiness, but every person knows that sugar definitely does, and Rochelle Adonis has sugary goodness in spades. Delicious and decadent hand crafted cakes, nougat, tarts, ice cream — and high tea. It’s all here at Rochelle Adonis.
The intricate desserts here taste as incredible as they look, so if you’re after a bit of gastronomic indulgence, look no further.

If you have a sweet tooth like myself, it doesn’t matter what the question is, rochelle adonis is always the right answer. To enjoy a little moment of deliciousness this is the ideal place; whether it for a fabulous girls high tea, or if your about to have a meltdown or suffering post break up; drown yourself in the sugary sensation of Rochelle Adonis’ confectionary, cakes and chocolate treats.
I came here with 5 of my girlfriends, for us to all catch up on the goss, but rather we all lost ourselves in the finely handcrafted goodies. Being a chocoholic, I indulged in chocolate butterscotch tart, made out of a shortbread shell and topped with chocolate ganache and crispy chocolate balls, it was absolutely devine and the whole experience seemed sort of magical.
