Around The Corner

We got lunch here on Wednesday (take out)
As you walk through the Door your greeted by a beautiful polished concrete floor that has stains on it from when the shop previously had floorboards over the top (in my opinion adds a fantastic look).
Light coloured matching wood tables and chairs (surprising comfy) and they have big menu boards making it easy to pick what you want.
I chose a burger with the lot. my partner chose a roast beef and gravy roll and we both got a serving of beer batter chips.
We where told by the nice lady who took our order that the burger would take about 10 minutes. But instead of making the roast beef and gravy roll at the time of purchase they made it only a minute or two before the burger came out of the kitchen with the chips so that the roll would be as fresh as the burger. (Something I wish more cafes did)
When we got home we opened up the the food witch was wrapped up in white paper (like most cafes) and put our food on plates.
The beer batter chips where perfectly cooked with a nice crunch and a soft centre my burger had a tasty bun a paddy that was cooked amazingly with lots of nummy juices the bacon tasted fresh and well cooked the egg was just the way I like it fora burger (fully cooked with a with a broken yoke) One of the best burgers Iv ever had.
I only got a small cheeky bite of the beef roll but the most important part. the gravy was delicious and not to over powering so you could still taste the beef and the tasty roll witch was great.
Over all fantastic atmosphere great food (burger I’d expect to find in a full restaurant at a very high price)
And friendly staff.
The only thing I would like to see is maybe some art on the wall Just to beak it up a bit
