They have generally much cheaper fruits and veg than the chain stores and comparable grocers. Lots of variety. Lots of of packaged foods from East and Southeast Asia. They also have more in-​season tropical fruit than most others.
Is everything there super fresh? No. A bit of a misnomer, but it has overall good products at great prices and is run by very personable people. There aren’t many places where the owner will box and lug everything to the car for an elderly woman, and on top of it, express concern for how she’ll get it out.
$ 10 minimum for EFTPOS or credit cards, or you’ll get a small surcharge. Try to use cash for small businesses as it costs them money anyway.
