If you happen to be in the Bobbinhead national park, this is the one and only place you are goingg to be able to find a good cup of coffee and a hearty(heart stopping) breakfast. Located right in the middle of the park near the Orchard Park picnic area, this café is housed in a classic building that is pretty hard to miss. The size of it indicates just how busy it must get during the holidays. And rightly so. The breaky I had here was awesome. Ordering the big breaky, it was exactly that. The mass of bacon I had on my plate puts most Sydney cafes to shame. Not only that, the bacon was cooked to order, piping hot and really delicious. The eggs were perfectly runny, and the hash brown was replaced with chips(which worked perfectly, especially if you like dipping them in your eggs…). My expectations for the coffee were pretty low going in. Normally when you come this far out of town, the coffee level drops significantly. Not so this time. While the crema was not fantastic, the quantity of milk was perfect. *Thumbs up* Only thing to be aware of is that parking in the park is $ 11 for a full day pass. While still quite reasonable, it can add to the total cost of a trip out. But why not drop on down and make a day of it. Plenty of things to keep yourself occupied in the park.
