Mt Gravatt Driving Range

I always thought that golf was a sport for people who have retired or for heads of businesses to carry out meetings. This is not the case anymore and we are seeing an increase in younger people taking up the sport. I had never really tried playing golf before but decided to head down to the Mt Gravatt Driving Range and try my hand at it. I was quite surprised that for a club and 100 balls it only cost 11 dollars and there was no time limit either. It was a little bit busy but they had a lot of lanes or driving areas that you could use. I was more concerned for the first time of making a fool out of myself and being laughed at by the pros. Thank fully the people did not laugh but instead some of them even came and gave me some tips. I have to say that after that day I have a new respect for golf because its not easy to get into to. I did persist and went back a few times and once you find your rhythm it can get quite addictive because you want to try hit further and more accurately every time. I do like the fact that its quite cheap and if you just want to go out and practice your swing or just hit something then head down and see how much fun it can be.
