Now let’s be honest, who doesn’t love wool?
Okay so maybe it is a niche market, but if you love wool and all things knitting, then is place has your name all over it.
I have never seen such a huge selection of wool. This place puts stoplight to shame when it comes to wool.
I went in here looking for a specific colour from a specific wool for my mum, and lo and behold they actually had it. The owner (I think?) was lovely.
Definitely worth a looksie.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many balls of wool in my life.
And buttons. And trims. And more wool.
I don’t actually knit, other than occasional forays into the medium when I have run out of other ways to procrastinate, but I do love to go into the Wool Village and stare, open mouthed, at all the many options I have when I do finally admit that I’m a crazy cat lady and am forced to begin to knit tea cosies for all my friends.
The little old dear who runs the shop is gorgeous, so eager to help and to please. It’s not your traditional glitzy buy-​me-​now affair, it’s a cluttured, out-​dated shop that runs on love. And I love it.
