All Wrapped Up

I had been to All Wrapped Up quite a few times before, but those times I was always accompanying my Mum shopping so I’d never really paid much attention to its name or anything else for that matter. I love shopping, but my Mum takes shopping to a whole new level — it usually ends with me waiting outside turning my face upwards, begging the skies for patience. (Mind you, this is how my boyfriend acts when I take him shopping).
So when I stopped by All Wrapped Up after a trip to Coles, I was surprised by how little attention I had paid to it before. This place is adorable! It’s full with little gadgets, trinkets, anything you can think of really. It has giftware, kitchenware, anything small and sparkly.
I’ve bought heaps of gift cards from here, simply because they’re different and look good. I’ve also bought a key ring, a mug, candles, jewellery stand, and a book holder from here. They’re reasonably priced too.
Just make sure you’re not wearing a big ass hat or anything — you might knock stuff over! And watch your kiddies, it’s pretty tight in there — not to a ridiculous extent, but it’s a small space.

All Wrapped Up is a cute little store, filled with stuff inside. Mind you, it’s not one of those places that are annoyingly crammed, instead everything seems to be in perfect order. Don’t be fooled by the size, you can definitely spend some time in here, browsing through each section and discovering pretty little things that you didn’t notice at first glance.
I came here on a lastminute gift-​buying mission and was partly successful. I managed to get a pretty card, some olive oil handcreme from the Clare Valley and a nice candle. They also stock some kitchen and cookware and it’s certainly a good place to get gift ideas, especially if you have no clue what you’re after. It’s not exactly cheap but not that expensive either. I’d definitely go back.

I was looking for a present for my little cousin recently, just a small trinket. Was wandering aimlessly through Norwood for a bit until I found this place.
Pretty much the perfect place, I just spun around with my eyes closed and finger outstretched and bought whatever I landed upon. Was a little pink make up sort of thing, even got the wrapping paper there too.
Seemed to go down pretty well.

I don’t frequent gift stores because I’m cheap and would rather give people discount finds from Big W and my neighbours’ backyard, but I do like to splurge every now and then.
All Wrapped Up (genius pun), is a little-​girl heaven. Lots of sweet little purses and jewellery boxes and tiny little things you can keep in your pocket and bring out at recess to sparkle and make you look cool. They also have some appealing homewares that are actually things you’d like to receive as gifts. Funky clocks and bookends and whimsical jewellery stands and all sorts of giftables that Kath and Kim would pronounce ‘Noice.’ It’s much more reasonably priced than you’d expect from a sparkly gift shop in the Eastern Burbs and the staff are pleasantly chatty and not at all snobbish.
When a co-​shopper was looking at a photo frame made out of a combi van, the sales assistant pointed out they also have combi van egg cups. Now this might sound stupid in theory but if you’d seen the things, you’d have been as delighted as we were. Needless to say she took two.
