The Speaker’s Studio is run by David Griggs a NIDA trained actor who brings his experience in the theatre and in owning a manufacturing business to bare in producing an experiential course in public speaking.
I was introduced to David through a half day intensive run as part of my MBA at Adelaide Uni. I enjoyed the experience so much, I enrolled in his full course run one night a week, over 8 weeks. You are taken through a process unlike any other that I have experienced where you learn about public speaking through a variety of fun exercises all the while discovering more about yourself as a person. He encourages you to connect with your own authentic style and work with it, so that all participants leave with a unique style that they own.
He takes you through a variety of situations, such as presenting to large groups at conferences, to pitching ideas to a board or group of investors, selling to customers and even interviewing for a job.
