Pages Café is a little café located inside Kooyong bookstore selling books, CD’s, etc for Christians. Everything is Christian based.
Pages Café was busy when I strolled in to feed my curiosity of the bookstore as a non-​religious person and found the café. They have a small menu for those who are hungry and the food I saw coming out to people looked delicious.
I ordered a cappuccino which I award 3 out of 5 stars. The coffee wasn’t poorly made, I just wasn’t overly fond of the bean they use. Other than that, their food looked delicious and their service was excellent.
They also provide Suspended Coffee which, in case you don’t know, is where people prepurchase a coffee for someone who isn’t well off and asks if there are any suspended coffee available so they can have one. I have been looking for this concept out here in Penrith in the outer west of Sydney. Having finally found a café with suspended coffee, I ordered one.
I doubt I’ll be back to drink their coffee as I’m bean fussy but I’ll definitely be back to pay for the occasional suspended coffee which I think is an excellent concept.
