Darrell Lea

Oom Pah Loom Pah Oopadi doo! I’m not sure if there was rocky road in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory but if there as I’m sure it wasn’t as nice as Darrell Lea’s version. All that sugary, mallowy goodness.
They only use sustainable and ethical cocoa farms which lets face it are few nad far between so they must struggle and if that’s why their choccies are more expensive then I don’t mind paying it.
I love that you can get Darrell Lea everywhere not only at the store.

I’d say majority of us are chocolate fans, chocolate is like magic for me, it has this healing power, that makes and problem or any pain go away. It soothes my soul!
Darrell Lea is up there with one of my all time favourites, the best thing for me about this store is the size and the large array of chocolate treats.
I have tried almost everything in this store, I have such a large love for this place that people actually buy me gift vouchers for it!
I am not sure how they do it but for me Darrell Lea is one of the best.

I should start off by saying that this review is going to be terribly, terribly biased.
As a chocolate — um, what’s the appropriate term? — fanatic. I’m going to go with fanatic. Or obsessive. Yes, that’ll do.
As a chocolate fanatic/​obsessive I can’t not give Darrell Lea in Plaza Arcade an awesome rating. How could I not give 5 stars to a place with shelves upon shelves of delicious and delicate chocolates?
Well, there is another reason why I hold a special spot for Darrell Lea in my heart. After learning that over 50% of the world’s cocoa is farmed via child slavery on the Ivory Coast, I died a little inside, and made a point of approaching all the chocolate companies I buy from to make sure I wasn’t inadvertently contributing to child slave labour.
Long story short, Darrell Lea made the cut. They only get their cocoa from sustainable sources, making their chocolate taste all the sweeter.
