Offers plenty of variety, these guys don’t carry everything that you’d see at the likes of other big boy grocery store, but the range they do carry is of the highest quality.
Look out for the reduced price veggie trolley where you can snap up some bargains.
Watch out for the prices of stuff as it’s generally about 10−15% more expensive than Coles or Woolies. You’re paying for convenience here, oh and for the old-​fashioned groceries-​in-​a-​paper-​bag luxury!

Whats that you say? You’re here for the fresh fruit and veg? Or the gorgeous flowers and gourmet produce? Macarons and cakes and delish deli goodies? Well you must have not met my friends the Chocolate Covered Pretzels yet!!! They have the power to make you forget what did you actually come in for… Dinner? Breakfast?
Doesn’t matter, you can eat pretzels for that right?

I wish I lived closer to Thomas Dux. As far as grocery shopping experiences go, it doesn’t get nicer than a trip to Thomas Dux.
Yes, you do pay a bit more for some high-​end stuff, but not everything is ridiculously priced. The quality of their produce is incomparable to the big chains and I love being able to get some indulgent everyday treats like dairy-​free coconut milk yoghurt, Voss sparkling water and Phillipa’s Granola. If you have any special dietary requirements, the options for gluten free, dairy free, wheat free etc are much better than anywhere else.

Whether you’re looking for dairy free, gluten free, high fibre, low GI or any other dietary requirement on the planet, this is indeed the place to go. Obscure spices, rare nut mixes and exotic grains line the well-​stocked shelves. Cereals are made from quinoa and chocolate is Chilean.
Fruit and veg are organic, naturally, as is nearly everything else in store. Thomas Dux is by no means budget friendly, but then, that isn’t the point.
The packaging is luxe and the feel is ultra exclusive. Yes it may be a little wanky and hilariously overpriced, but the food is just so damn good it doesn’t even matter.

If your like me and fed up with one to many bruised apples from the local Coles or IGA, TD is without a doubt a store that wont’ let you down. Thomas Dux is an up market grocery store created by Australia’s supermarket giant Woolworth’s. There are several locations around Melbourne.
I must have been trawling the streets for days when it was opening week, eager to see the fresh produce that they had to offer. Freshly baked breads, cheeses, slices, organic fruits & vegetables which always look rich in colour and extremely flavorsome. The shelves are always fully stocked and they are open until 9pm every night which turns those late night dinner faux pas into healthy meal solutions every time.
The best things about TD is that you don’t have to admire you can taste test. The perfect try before you by strategy get’s me every time. Especially when everything is so fresh & indulgent. If you are a first timer to the store, I guarantee you will return shortly after.
Samples coupled with second to none service really seals the deal for me and keeps me a regular. Each staff member knows where their produce is from and what accompanies what. They are great for meal ideas, recommendations and don’t mind slicing open a sample for you to try on the spot.
You’ll also find that they stock a great selection of organic, gluten-​free & preservative-​free foods. It really is about quality here and it shows.
