A slightly run down looking salon from the outside but great quality stuff inside! Satomi took great care in cutting my hair, slowly cutting each section and layer bit by bit. Totally listened to what I wanted and did accordingly, always asking to confirm before making the snip. Full service with head massage during shampoo and head and shoulder massage during blow dry. Awesome blow dry too! Totally satisfied and will return!

Absolutely love this salon! Have been twice now, seen different stylists on each occasion & very happy both times. The staff are so lovely, they always take trouble to understand what you want, make sure you’re happy & completely fuss over you, I love the incredibly relaxing scalp massage & hot towel wrap! They also brought me the yummiest green tea :) Even better, $ 75 for an amazing cut, I have never been so happy leaving a hair salon!

This small and unassuming hairdresser is the epitome of calm. I have walked past for years thinking ‘I must try it sometime’ and boy I’m glad I finally did. My hairdresser of three years recently moved to the CBD and I(guiltily) dropped in this afternoon for a wash, blow dry and fringe trim. I was blown away, I think have found my new hairdresser! Never more than a few customers, jazz music, modernist Japanese décor… I felt like I was in a Murakami novel! Then the hair wash and massage began… three lots of shampoo and two lots of conditioner, my hair has never had so much shine, something Japanese women are famous for I suppose… a hot towel wrapped around my head, lots of great quality head and neck massage… probably 20min worth… wow… Everything was taken care of to the nearest 1%, from turning the chair so you could sit properly, to the way the towel is tucked around your neck so cut hair will not creep down, I love attention to detail and these guys have got it! Gracious and attentive service, along with magazines and a refreshment, as you would expect from most hairdressers. I’m booked in for a cut and colour in a few weeks time, I am truly impressed, and I will update then. wash + blowdry + fringe trim = $ 50 Service: Let’s just say there are many Australian hairdressers out there with lots to learn from these people. They have a whole range of ‘treatments’ to try out and I’m very keen to have a go. Don’t be afraid of the accents, it’s all quality here. cash only.
