Circus aspiring 8 yo didn’t take much (if any) convincing at all to check out the end of year showcase at NICA, just around the corner from street long wine and dining and shopping options of Chapel street.
The graduating students put up an amazing show right from the entrance and the skills on show are nothing short of breath taking.
If you love acrobatic, unique, funny, and captivating entertainment from the thrilling to the magical, you should really consider seeing what’s on at NICA.

I was fortunate to score some free tickets to NICA’s showcase of graduating students last week. One word — Wow!
This is where the stars of well known circuses are born, and it was great to see the incredible space in which they get to train. If I felt like learning a bit of tightrope walking, juggling or Japanese pole (think pole dancing but less of the creepy sexiness and more athleticism) then this is where I would go.
If you ever get a chance to see the graduation show then I’d highly recommend it. It was an entertaining evening with a great display of strength and skill and lots of humour (loved the subtle adult jokes for the grown ups).

I highly recommend seeing a show. They’re very affordable and so exciting! The students usually put them on at the end of each term. NICA is a world class school (I know graduates who work with Cirque Du Soleil) so you won’t be disappointed.
