I stopped here for a quick coffee before lunch. What I got was bad service (no eye contact, change shoved into my hand), a 10% surcharge for Sunday ($ 5.50 regular coffee) and a pretty average coffee (Starbucks or McCafe would have been as good).
Needless to say I did not stay once I finally got my coffee, whichever took 10 – 15 mins even though the place was not busy.
The place itself looks like a shabby less merchandised version of a Starbucks.
Very disappointing.

The coffee isn’t bad. And the subs are quite good. But the service is terrible. Staff seem like they don’t want to be there, even when taking your order at the counter.

This Café come restaurant of an evening is my favorite local place to have a meal. The coffee is great also. The owner Eddie and his team are always welcoming.
I’ve just had the lentil soup served with two pieces of juicy garlic bread for lunch on this very miserable cold winters day. It was the perfect antidote.
If you are in the suburbs nearby then do yourself a flavor and drop in.
