Overpriced and pretentious food. The only saviour is the view but I can get buy fish chips locally and enjoy that for free. Ragu was bland with a few slivers of pulled meat, 3 times cook fries were like left over jacket potatoes from the sunday roast. Wife had baramundi pasta which was ok but very small serve. Cheese cake??? Oh yes deconstructed is in… looks like something off my kitchen rules. Bread was nice as was the garden salad. Poor effort for $ 75/head

Regatta has only been open for three weeks but they seem to have it all together already. We had two big tables — about twenty people so it was a challenge. The view is amazing across Rose Bay and the food matched the view. My scallops were cooked with the required amount of caramelisation and the chorizo and cauliflower added a bit of saltiness and texture. The lamb was also an excellent combination of taste and perfectly pink. The people either side of me had the Trevalla and were equally happy. The passion fruit custard was a nice end — light with a tangy purée /foam. Overall a really nice dinner with good company and good food. Hope they make a success of the new venture
