Here’s hoping this little playground gets upgraded. It’s in a fantastic spot but there’s not much to it. There’s the playground as pictured in the photo and then there’s a metal flying fox on the other side of the park. Supervising your children from different sides of the park could be a little tricky. I’m not quite sure why they set it up like this. There isn’t any drinking fountain. There isn’t any shade apart from what the trees throw on the ground. Let’s hope the future looks brighter for this little playground. *Dogs allowed, under control* *No drinking fountain* *No shelter*

Travelling with a dog it helps to go the good spots around town where I know I can stop and my dog can stretch her legs. Mitchell St Reserve isn’t really much of a park, but for my needs it’s okay. It’s big enough that I can walk Bronwyn(yes, my dog’s name is Bronwyn) for long enough that she’ll happily sit in the car for another few hours driving. I think if I had kids or was planning a picnic at this spot I’d be rather disappointed, but for now, it’s okay.
