I’ve stopped here to walk my puppy a few times. It’s a nice enough spot, but like Amanda, if there are toilets here, I’ve got no idea where they are. The playground does look pretty awesome. Oh, to be eight years old again! It’s a good little spot for a walk. I’ve really only been here to stretch my legs after a long drive, and to let the puppy out to have a bit of a play, but I reckon the place would be enhanced by some shade sails, because while this place is really quite nice, it’d be that much nicer to sit and eat a sandwich and not get a seriously sunburnt neck in the middle of summer.

I’m really loving the changes the City of Marion are making to their local playgrounds. They are structures of fun, creativity and challenge and this is the case for this playground. I wish I had a playground like this when I was growing up! This is suitable for a wide range of ages and looks like a WHOLE lot of fun. I entered the playground from Eyre Street. I wouldn’t recommend this if you are with little children. It’s a bit of a walk and uphill. Entering from Davey Crescent looks like a better idea. There is a drinking fountain which works! And there are bench seats but no sheltered table/chair areas. This is part of a much bigger reserve/park area and I’m unsure if there are toilets in another section. Well worth a look, a visit and a play… no matter how old we, I mean, the children are! ;-) *Dogs allowed* *Drinking fountain* *No shelter/shade*
