This place is a great way to work on your 10,000 steps. Its a maze and finding your way out always involves walking past something you have to buy right now. They are great if you want to redo your kitchen as they will sell you the whole room with or without appliences.

I was enjoying my time shopping until i realized everything I wanted was out of stock. As a 6 month pregnant woman, i also found it difficult to get any real customer service. Not to mention being completely trapped when i needed to use the bathroom. Oh i would have spent so much more money today Ikea if you’d just let me.

Everyone complains about IKEA but we all end up going there don’t we? I’m no different. Of course it’s frustrating if you just want to pick something up in the ‘homewares’ section as you need to walk through all of the furniture but these days the maps show you the shortcuts through areas so you can get to the cheap glassware and funs serviettes in the blink of an eye. I bought a large glass water jug, a washing up brush, 40 funky serviettes and a desk clock for $ 10 so I can hardly complain about a few extra steps in store.
The main reason I got to IKEA though is the market hall. Did you know you can buy elderflower cordial (for drinks, cocktails and ice blocks) for $ 6? Half the price of some big retailers. They also have good lingonberry jam for a few dollars and you can stock up on all of your Eurovision party needs.

It was my first time at Ikea Logan last week. It doesn’t look any difference from any other ikea in other country and that’s what I like about it. I know exactly what I am getting.
That weekend was really crowded, it was hard to really take time to look for thing. I knew what I wanted to get but unfortunately it was out of stock. The staff was helpful bit in some sections I wish there were more staff to ask some questions.
I know Ikea is not that good quality but I still love it and I will always want to go back and shop there again.

I am an IKEA tragic. I could quite happily furnish my entire house from IKEA and be very happy.
I always start my journey through IKEA in their café. You need to maintain your energy when you come here. I had the Meatballs with cream sauce and mashed potato with a side of chocolate cake (sugar for energy you know!!). Husband chose the healthier option of smoked salmon and bean salad with a marzipan cake. Both items were very nice and very standard IKEA fare.
Then began the journey through the warehouse. I wont go into too much detail but two things you must remember at the start of the journey — take a bottle of water with you and wear comfortable shoes. Trust me — you will need them.
Also, try as hard as you can to stick to a plan when you go there, you always buy more then you intend to. Well, I do anyway!
IKEA at Logan is absolutely huge so expect to spend several hours in there. I never spend less then 3 hours in store.

Oh Ikea, how I love thee. This place is a complete time black hole, it is so easy to just go in and lose hours in a day just wandering around looking at pretty and shiny things.
They display their furniture very well, creating little rooms and displays to show you what you can do with their products, and they make well-​priced good looking things to boot. Some people complain that the furniture is not built as well as it could be, but hey — at the price that it is, it’s decent and also allows you to change furniture and the look of your abode every few years without breaking the bank too much!
They also have a restaurant there so you don’t go starving, and the food is good and cheap too! And if you find something you particularly like (like the meatballs, or the vegetable frittata), they sell them downstairs after you’ve checked out!
IKEA. I’m a fan :)

If you’re not close to screaming at each other or just desperately looking for the way out, you haven’t had the full Ikea experience. We always have the meatballs first, because after wandering through the maze we just want to GO, already. Still, it’s an experience that can’t be beat. The checkout staff can be a bit crazy.

Being the largest IKEA store in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s a pretty impressive space.
All your Swedish-​designed, cheap furniture needs and more can be met in one place!
Grab a free measuring tape and a pencil (or two or three or…) when you enter the store.
Parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially on weekends. Tough it out as there’s no other efficient way of getting here (and you’ll need a car to transport all your flat-​packed goodies anyway).
Make sure you sign up to IKEA FAMILY (for free!) to get special deals on certain items throughout the store as well as the adjoining restaurant.
Plenty of mid-​week restaurant deals makes this place VERY popular amongst families in the area.

Friends and I almost got kicked out of Ikea once. It was the day a guy I was dating called it off over the phone while said friends and I were in the car enroute to Ikea. It propelled us to have a day of fun in Ikea. Who knew a grown man could fit in the cribs in the bedroom section?
But here’s the fact: if you’re in a new relationship and want to test if he’s «like totally in to you?» Then visit IKEA. The «ring of fire» will surely test the most gooey of love birds. Trapped on the loop that takes you from kitchens to living room, bedroom and then finally the kids section before you can escape down the stairs will test just how fateful your relationship is. KIDDING!

IKEA is Swedish for «affordable, reasonable quality home wares.» Whether you’re feathering your nest for the first time or wanting something that won’t break the bank yet nods to the latest trends in Home & Garden magazine, Ikea has your back. Who can go past the RIBBA frames for decorating your walls with prints purchased from Etsy? Sick of paying for drinking glasses that smash weeks later? Let IKEA sort you out with their 79c drinking glasses. For that price you could smash them for fun.
Plus, if you get stuck in that ring of fire follow the smell of meatballs to the cafeteria section — it is your escape route.

no, no, and again… no. Cheap stuff that is easy to put together… but to put it together, you have to get all the parts out of the warehouse… yourself. If you have a piece that’s a combination (like I was looking at), ya had to go to about 7 different parts of the warehouse and hope you got it right, and at the same time, do combat with everyone else. forget it. Never again.

I have to agree with a few of the reviewers: the food here is cheap and excellent, and you’ll end up buying stuff you don’t «need» but you won’t regret it. However, Ikea has bulked up its healthy food options in what is basically a massive cafeteria covering the entire top floor. And despite there being literally hundreds of seats here, finding a spot to sit and eat can be tough. I wouldn’t be surprised if people came here for the food alone.
As you can imagine, the place is teeming with screaming babies, kids running around in different directions, and parents looking harried. These can be avoided by staying out of flooded areas, however. The way the store is set up — a path of yellow tape — somehow makes you feel like you’re walking along the yellow brick road. It also makes it difficult and maze-​like if you want to leave before you’ve walked the whole path. (You can’t cut back to the beginning either because of the way the escalators are set up.)
Various labels and posters are graffitied by customers, as you get a pencil and notepad on the way in to write down the serial number for warehouse-​stored items. It’s the same deal with the graffiti inside the toilets. There’s some pretty funny graffiti here, even some intelligent stuff. Judging by the handwriting, a child of about 8 years old in one of the bathroom stalls started a list for people to join the fight against Voldemort’s army. I think I was signature number 14.
On the bathroom front, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many stalls in one place. No queuing here. But of course Ikea is all about doing it on a large scale.
As I’ve come to expect, I came back with a few things I didn’t need. Or rather, things I didn’t think I needed. It turns out my dog is obsessed with the moose hand puppet (around $ 2-​$ 3) to the exclusion of all her other toys. As long as she doesn’t bite my hand off, you’d have to say that’s a good buy.

When I was younger it took all of my
mothers gentle persuading to convince me
that I couldn’t live in the IKEA showrooms.
…But when I grew older I realized that
(with the requisite cash monies in tow),
I could finally have the dream room I always wanted.
IKEA is a familiar word amongst families and (depending on
your experience) is liable to cause excitement or pure dread.
Personally I never understood the horror of IKEA.
I hear countless hoards of humans bemoan the swedish megastore,
but I know that all of them have (at the very least!) a couple of expedit shelves
or a POANG chair lounging around the house.
I do however understand the rap it gets for being low quality,
having bought a wardrobe from here I was alarmed when it
started sagging a couple of weeks after purchasing.
(IKEA is actually pretty good at refunds… if you can be bothered
taking pictures of the distorted furniture and driving back to Logan that is.)
Eagerly sifting through its catalogues,
I usually compile a mega list and can spend a very happy afternoon here.
(Of course making time for the café and food store stops.)
…And with the advent of IKEA MANLAND
(complete with Xboxes, hotdogs and comfy couches.)
your menfolk will be just as eager to visit this furniture monolith.

Ikea in Logan can be a bitch to get to. Every time I’ve gone there I’ve managed to get lost once I snake my way round Exit 23 on the motor way. There has been construction work happening on the roads surrounding Ikea from as far back as I can remember. The last time I went, my boyfriend and I got stuck on a round-​a-​bout and took a wrong exit. «ALL WE WANT IS MODERATELY PRICED SWEDISH FURNITURE» we screamed, beating our fists upon the dashboard. There was detour after detour after detour until we were finally welcomed into the loving arms of our Swedish deliverer.
When you finally make it to Ikea alive, you’ll be delighted with the array of homely delights in store for you. Be sure to sign up for an Ikea family card; with it, you receive special discounts, go into the draw to win gift vouchers, and can score a free hot drink at the cafeteria. The tea here is strange though; it’s a brand I’ve never heard of and the hot water always ends up frothy. Still, you can’t pass up a freebie. The cafeteria’s also good for cheap, sausage flavoured meatballs, and slightly old garden salads.
My favourite thing to do after an exhausting expedition at Ikea Logan is to reward myself with a 50c soft serve and a drink. On the day I went the machines were going loco; the pepsi was almost all syrup and the ice cream machine stalled and needed to be topped up by staff.

Oh IKEA, how true is the joke that you’re Swedish for divorce. I’ve stopped taking my husband unless he owes me big time. In fact, I’ve got to admit it’s such a stressful experience for me that I only go when I absolutely have to.
The problem is that IKEA has so many things you need, and most of them are at good prices (if varied life expectancy). So you tend to save up everything and when you do finally go the orgy of spending (and kilometres of walking) leaves you drained and exhausted. Not to mention the sensation of despair when you get to the parking lot with your ridiculously huge trolley and remember you drive a Suzuki Swift…
The thing that I cheer myself up with? IKEA food. Eating there is like eating at one of the old school Myer cafeterias (in a country town). The chips with weird Swedish sauce are a favourite pick me up after a big shopping trip, but the best thing is the $ 2.95 breakfast. You have to get there before 11am so if you’re hungover get your grease fix here before you face the labyrinth that is the IKEA shop floor.

It’s almost impossible to review IKEA correctly. Every house has some piece of IKEA furniture. If you’re a male bachelor, everything you –own– aside from the X-​box and the big screen TV came from IKEA. It’s inspirational how Logan’s IKEA is designed. It’s flawless from a consumer-​sale perspective — even better is how it manages to squeeze the dollars out of you, like a sponge caught in some great machine’s cogs.
In essence, IKEA’s wares are not meant to last. Their the most tasteful out of the tacky range, and will suffice until you’re able to afford something more permanent. Everything from home linens to bedframes, lights, towels and anything else you can think of is contained within IKEA (everything except electronics — go to Harvey Norman or something).
IKEA — if it’s once a year, it’s a good year.

Ahhh IKEA, you never disappoint. My first experience in your mazed realms left me dazed and confused, so many corners and twists and turns! But alas, even when I got lost I found some charming table setting or leather lounge chair to distract my despair and envelop me in dreams of what could be.
Why IKEA? Because you are enchanting, you are intoxicating. Walking through your labyrinth of confusing paths makes me envision how I would set out my own home. You give me visions of how I want my future to look aesthetically, and you give me pangs when I can’t afford your delicious-​looking red heart pillows or your heavyset white bedframe. And the way you utilise space to fit whole house settings into a few tiny rooms, that’s just magical! Well done, IKEA!
Mostly IKEA, you make me buy things I don’t even need. Did I really need that rug? No. Could I really afford that stool or that lamp? Not really. Am I just going to keep throwing money at you so you’ll continue to show me homeware-​love? Oh yes, you bet I am.
And I resent the fact that people say shopping with you is purely a couples activity, IKEA. Clearly no partner is ever going to have as excellent taste as I do when it comes to choosing lounge chairs and photo frames. So no IKEA, I will continue to defy those people and wander aimlessly through your pre-​made and amazing settings and soak up all your splendour because you are perfect as you are, and I feel uplifted ambling through your settings.
You’re always reducing fantastic things for me so I can afford them and just begging me to come back for more, and that’s what I intend to do. Don’t worry IKEA, I’ll be back. You’re too fantastic for me to stay away for long.
