Kekko Sandwich And Cafe

Kekkos does a fantastic pork schnitzel roll for $ 6. I think it’s the thing they’re most famous for, largely because it is continually advertised on a small sign on the counter as today’s special. By this definition, it is probably today’s regular, rather than a special, but it is a tasty and special little dish.
The only thing I can’t figure out is why it takes so long to cook. The staff who run Kekko (I am fairly certain they are a family) are very warm and extremely expedient in processing orders, but these particular rolls can take around 10 minutes to be prepared and served. They’re worth the wait, but bring someone interesting or at least tolerable to wait with you.
The breakfast deal (bacon and egg roll and a coffee for $ 5.50) is also a steal in this part of town and it was always a great way to start Friday and messily devour in front of hapless co-​workers.
