Since I’ve actively trimming my extra belly fat, I need more supplement to help me achieve my goal. I’m taking also advantage that GNC offer up until tomorrow but 1 get one free or buy selected 2 products for $ 50. Well, health doesn’t come cheap, right? Because they have sale in store I bought couple of whey protein and aminolast from Gaspari nutrition to give you more kick before the session and also to promote lean muscle. The store will confused you with so many different products that you might not aware with so many ingredients. So you need extra help from the nutrition person. Ok this is a chain and pretty much every outlet is the same. So why am I writing this review? Because hopefully some readers, especially women, will read it and get inspired to go in here. When you poke your head in here, unless you already are bulked-up, it can be a little intimidating looking at all the huge jars of whey protein. It all looks pretty hard-core. But if you look a bit closer and actually speak to some of the staff you’ll realise they have other products that may assist in weight-loss, digestion and nutrition. I’ve used the following which may be of interest: 1. Lo-carb Delite(vanilla) — its a low carb, high protein shake which has fewer side effects than whey protein. I usually replace a meal with this protein shake mixed with low-fat milk(or water can be used) and a piece of fruit/veggies or tub of yoghurt. A serving contains 30g of protein and its perfect after a workout. However it does come in a huge protein jar lol 2. Carnithin — this is a supplement to be taken twice a day which speeds up your metabolism during meals and when exercising. You mix it with water and drink it. I usually take it 20min before breakfast and before training. I’ve asked my pharmacist friend to look at the ingredients and she said its pretty natural and ok to taken for extended periods of time. 3. Maximum Greens — an antioxidant rich formula with wheatgrass. Grant you, it tastes foul but after a while you get used to it. The product helps with digestion and its a natural detox for your body without going on some crazy detox program. You mix the powder with water and drink it… used to have it daily but now I take it a couple times a week. 4. CLA — now this is a bit more serious. The guy at GNC told me that I can take this tablet for extended periods no prob, but my pharmacist friend told me this is no good if taken for a long time. I’ve also read research that body builders who have taken this have problems later on. So why take it? For people who are trying to lose those last kilos, this product helps shift that stubborn stomach fat by making you feel really full. And it does work, every time I take it I don’t eat as much. But only take it for a short time so it doesn’t have a negative effect. Hopefully this will inspire women to go into GNC and check out it out. Busy lifestyles may prevent you from eating right but there are products out there that will help you live a healthier lifestyle :)
