Tempted to go 5 stars. Instead a very strong 4 stars. Friend and I traveled to Salzburg on a Sunday for the Christkindlmarkt. It was a chilly rainy day and we wanted food before heading back to Munich. Luckily friend did her research and knew to look for this place from her Rick Steves book bc it was open on Sundays.
The food was delicious! I had the schnitzel with potatoes and cranberries. Thankfully someone else has posted a picture of this lovely dish because I inhaled mine before thinking to take a picture. I’m not usually a cranberry fan but I wanted to lick the dish they were that good. The schnitzel was very well prepared. We could hear them pounding it thin in the kitchen. Friend got the pork with dumplings and inhaled it as well. We washed it all down with a bottle of Riesling.
A lovely dinner in a lovely city. I’d highly recommend.

Bei einem Ausflug in Salzburg haben wir uns kurzentschlossen für diese Bar entschieden, um Mittagessen zu gehen. Da es im touristischen Zentrum angesiedelt ist, war ich sehr von der Qualität überrascht. Hier werden lokale Spezialitäten angeboten (wahrscheinlich ein Eingeständnis an die Touristen) und indische Leckereien. Ich hatte ein Chicken Curry. Reis, Gemüse und Gewürze waren sehr gut gekocht und abgeschmeckt. Preislich fair. Daher war ich positiv überrascht und ich kann diese Bar nur jedem empfehlen, der bei seinem Besuch in Salzburg Mittag eine Einkehr sucht.
