So I know there are a bunch of ‘climbing gyms’ in the city. But really there are only three worth mentioning. Marswiese is a distant second and klatterhalle third. Boulderbar offers complexity in bouldering that no other can offer. Lots of space and hopefully more to come. In the words of great climbers everywhere, «go crush plastic!»

As regular boulderer from Canada, I was a bit disappointed with bouldering gyms in Vienna. Until this place opened up! They care to keep the sport exciting and change routes often.

I was pleased to be able to join into the official opening of Vienna newest Climbing hall, which Vienna certainly has a few of. But this is at least the first Boulderbar i have been to.
I was very pleased with this boulder Hall as they put a lot of work into making it a great place to climb, I do want to return on another day when there are less people there.
However my friends and i all agree it will be a great place to climb.
However for us it will not become a regular place to climb, as 1. it is not the most convenant place to get to, and 2. it is more expensive then the ones we already go to.
But never the less we will venture there now and again.
