The Sfinks café is a respected name in the suburbs of Antwerp. Whether you like to stay there in a late afternoon or hang out till later that night, their doors are often open (see below).
The building is the old warehouse of the train station of Boechout. The interior is built up of different furniture but the most original are the train seats on the first floor (which have been changing through the years — luckily!). You must accept the trains that roar past the café but yet, it has a truly unique atmosphere.
The café also organizes photo exhibitions every two months. Their website is outdated but for recent updates you can check their facebook page!
