We were looking for a place to eat in the sun. Good spot. Service was great, my quiche was OK but my friend’s chicken was dry. Pricey but located on the beautiful place of brugges

If you’re looking for a touristy place in Brugge, you’ve found it. Of course, situated in such a lovely location you kind of have to expect that the food is going to be overpriced. Unfortunately, the food was both overpriced and over cooked. My half chicken was exceedingly dry and the peppercorn sauce it came with pretty much tasteless. Service, however, was nice. Also – it is a lovely spot on a sunny day.

Cool little restaurant/pub. We had great service from a waiter that spoke fluent English. The ladies and I sat at the high tops at the bar where we were greeted quickly with menus and bacon/ranch flavored rice chips(friggen awesome). We had a local beer Brouwerij(blond or brine) which were both great. We followed those up with a hot tapas plate which had and assortment of fried foods(cheese balls, onion rings, chicken fingers, gravy balls). The price was right, food was on point and service was excellent. Highly recommended. Cheers–

This place is in a great location, in the center of the historic Bruges square. It’s a bit pricey(15 euros for a pasta with veggies) but it’s good. It’s nice but casual at the same time. The service was good and the view outside is beautiful. They have vegan options which makes me happy. Would be 5 stars if the prices were a bit better!

Very poor service. The waiter should find a job he likes since it shows that he is not enjoying serving customers. Food for tourists, i .e average and expensive.

St. Joris is one in a long row of restaurants on Grote Markt, and it really caters to tourists. Their outdoor patio is a nice place to people watch and enjoy the Markt, but the dishes are priced higher and the food is nothing exceptional. My husband and I ate here with another couple that wanted a restaurant that served Flemish food, and it was pretty underwhelming. Our food was expensive for the portion sizes, and was described as «ok» by all the members of our dining group. I got a chef’s salad with meat and cheese on it, and it was good but I left the restaurant hungry. The service was attentive though, and if you want to sit and enjoy some beer on the Markt it’s got a great location. For dinner or lunch head out of the tourist zone for better food and better value.

Very tasty meal and very professional service. In the very city center, it is wonderful to have dinner in the Groeten Markt of Brugge. I highly recommend to visit this great restaurant.

I was definitely surprised that no one had posted about this restaurant since I really enjoyed myself. It is in the main market area of Brugge where most of the tourists would be however, if you go for lunch time St Joris has a pretty good lunch special. My cousin and I came in for their lunch special which was 9.50 euros I believe, and you really get your money’s worth. I would assume the specials would change every day but check this place out. Because we were too stuffed to eat anything else, I did take a glance at the menu and everything looked very promising. Regardless if this restaurant has a lunch special I would highly recommend going. ENJOY!
