This is such a great store, there are many other around but I found that this was cheaper. The one at the Grand Place was more expensive. In the day time you can see them making the chocolate. The lady behind the counter was so sweet and I tried a sample there and realized that this chocolate was better than the Neuhaus chocolate. I bought a box of 16 pieces and it was around 12 Euros, which is so cheap! The quality is top notch, you should definitely go there for very good. I went to another Chocopolis in the Grand Place. I realized that I did not get chocolate for my friends. The space is a fraction of the first one, understandable because rent is much higher there. This time I bought a box of 6 chocolate which is around 6 Euros and a dark chocolate bar which was around 3 Euros. Sales person was really nice, I had to make sure one of the chocolate was vegan so I kept asking her which one was vegan. I really didn’t want to give a gift to someone who is vegan any animal product. She kept answering me very nicely that all the dark chocolate has no animal product in it.

Great chocolate for the price. I had their praline with orange and thyme and it qas a beautiful combination. If you like dark chocolate and citrus flavors this is for you. They have a milk one with lemon that is very refreshing/awakening and if you are starting on the chocolate then give a try to the marzapane with white chocolate. They also have a box free after you make a purchase. Bargain right there!

Went here when I went to Belgium on vacation several years ago. We did a tour of this place along with a few other non-chocolate* places which had among other things a chocolate* demonstration. A guy showed how to temper chocolate*, went over the different types of chocolate* based on cacao level(from dark to milk) and a bit of the process. He also noted about white chocolate* in a rather humorous way, noting that«people buy the stuff and it’s labeled as chocolate* but it might as well not be.» Anyway the tour ended with him making milk chocolate* shells. He was about to throw them out but people said, wait we might as well eat them. The single best piece of chocolate* I have ever tasted and I have had a whole lot of different brands and from a whole lot of chocolatiers. Please note that if you are going to buy stuff, make sure it’s not going to travel for a very long time. They note that while it doesn’t spoil, it messes with the quality. So don’t expect something flown several hours away will taste as good. It’s still amazing but just noting. Nice staff who informed us of this before we bought a whole lot of chocolate. * *And yes I mentioned chocolate 9 times, one for each letter just because I could. 4.9, best I have had.

Mmmm… can I say I love that they let you taste the chocolate. I wanted to get a box of truffles and was unsure and the ladies here were awesome to let you try some… I ended up ordering a small package of 5-gift boxes for coworkers. I got my husband a couple of bars of chocolate and got myself a box of assorted chocolates. The chocolate here is DIVINE! I love that they are willing to help you out. Plus looking at the chocolate statues was cool too. They were putting the chocolate elephant in the back and it was just huge! Mmm, I want some more chocolate from here…

This lovely chocolate shop gets a five star rating from me because it is the perfect balance of service, quality, and price. SERVICE: Everyone is so helpful here! They’ll help you make up your own box or help you select the correct pre-made boxes. The lady who helped us was proficient, if not fluent, in English, helpful to us Americans who only know one language… QUALITY: We went here on a tour and our guide pointed out that Chocopolis focuses on infusing fruit into their truffles and I was not disappointed! The lemon, orange, or passionfruit truffles stand out as the best citrus chocolate I have ever had. The lemon is a zinger, but perfectly so. The orange and passionfruit truffles are a little more subdued but very much still present on the palette. PRICE: Belgian chocolate is expensive for a reason because they use high quality ingredients. Chocopolis charges what some of the best chocolatiers in the area charge but also have great deals on the purchase of multiple boxes. This makes Chocopolis the perfect place to get gifts to take back. Their boxes are simple, yet elegant. The gold interior makes it classy. Summary: Perfect for gifts. Wonderful chocolate.

The ladies that work here are great. The chocolates here are good though not the best Belgian chocolates. They have a wide variety of chocolates. Dark, milk, amaretto, cognac, rum, Bailey’s, raspberry, hazelnut, almond, passion fruit, etc. If you get bon bons, ask for a box. They put mine in cellophane and my chocolates did not travel well with all my stuff. They look like chocolate coins by the time I got home. They have pre-boxed chocolates if you want to skip picking your own selections. Brussels is home to Speculoos so they have chocolate with that good stuff. I got some to give to friends.
