Remanso do Peixe

Simplesmente a melhor peixaria de Belém, quem sabe até além, lembro do local desde criança, o dono, Sr. Chicão ou Xicão, não sei exatamente qual ele prefere, é uma pessoa incrível, se forem não deixem de comer a caldeirada, melhor prato na minha opinião, se bem que sou meio suspeito, já que sou fã de caldeiradas

Muito bom! One of the best restaurants I have found, although it was certainly a challenge to actually find it! It is hidden down a small side road, entrance is hardly marked. But find this hidden gem, and go inside to enjoy the treasures!
They serve and prepare a ton of great fish from the Amazon. My personal favorite is pirarucu, and they serve it in a variety of ways. Pair that with a cupuacu caipirinha and go one step closer to heaven.
Note that some dishes are prepared for two, so bear that in mind when you are ordering.
This is not an inexpensive place to eat, but for what you receive, I felt it was fairly priced and value was commensurate with price.
Definitely worth checking out, would be a perfect place for date night — very quiet and intimate. Also a great place for a family or work dinner, although the largest table I saw would seat 6 – 8 people. Am sure they could do something with advanced notice, there were some other areas I didn’t see, so likely some additional seating available.
