Majestic

On the plus side — We really liked the location, great ocean view. The hotel has a handsome lobby, attentive front desk service. Valet parking at R$ 20 per night.
On the negative — We chose an executive suite which had an ocean view. The room was very plain and bare with very little creature comforts, bathroom needs updating and toiletries are poor quality. One does expect more for what is charged, this is NOT a five star hotel. Breakfast is weak, very low quality … food that you can expect from a low-​end hotel.

The service is great, the view of the North Bay is fantastic and the room is very nice, the windows have great light-​blocking screens for sleeping… however… the main road along the coast runs directly outside the hotel and is very noisy; it slows around 3am and picks back up around 6am. If you enjoy sleeping and can’t sleep with noise, I recommend getting a room facing away from the street.

Ein gutes, aber nicht exzellentes Hotel. Das Haus gilt als eines der besten in Florianopolis, aber diese Meinung teile ich nicht. Es ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, und die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Die Bettdecken sind aus irgend einem Grund so klein, dass man sich kaum damit zudecken kann. Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls eher spärlich.
Nett fand ich das Frühstücksbuffet, und zwar sowohl vom Essen her als auch von der Aussicht. Man sitzt hoch über dem Strandboulevard mit herrlichem Blick über die Lagune und beginnt seinen Tag mit frischen Früchten und Säften aus tropischen Früchten.
Die Lage ist perfekt — direkt an der Innenstadt, neben der (leider sehr schlechten) Costanera Mall. WiFi ist gratis und sehr schnell.
Bei uns dauerte leider der Check-​In so lange, dass ich beinahe eingeschlafen bin.

Phenomenal value in Floripa! The rooms are massive and beautifully appointed. They bring in staff members from all over the world. Everyone here speaks Portuguese and English (and likely several other languages).
Not a breakfast person so only went there once and stuck to tea and fruit. The spread was impressive looking, though.
The best attributes of this hotel are the location and the pool. While not on a beach, the beaches are all a short inexpensive cab ride away. Instead, the hotel is in the heart of the business district with tons of restaurants, shopping, and night life nearby. The pool is a rooftop infinity pool with breathtaking views.
Loved it here for 6 too short days and would return again in a heartbeat.

A really good hotel. Just getting a reservation here is pretty hard as the hotel is usually booked. The pool is located on the lower floors but has a great view of the city with an infinity pool. There is a decent sized restaurant and the staff are all really friendly. Most of the staff speak english here so you won’t have any issues communicating. There is a shopping mall about a 1 minute walk away and Toca de Jurere is located right behind the hotel if you want some amazing seafood. This is probably one of the more expensive hotels here so if you don’t want to pay so much, then I’d suggest others. All in all, this is a comfortable place to stay.

We really liked this hotel. The included breakfast was great as well as the service. The room was modern and comfortable, just what we needed. We had an issue with the toilet which was promptly solved. But the best thing was the view from my room. I stayed there during Christmas so the main avenue was all decorated and the lights and scenery made for beautiful pictures. The pool is small but the view is also nice. Location was great with restaurants within walking distance and also a good mall. Overall it was a great hotel and I would definitely come back!

Hotel com vista privilegiada (quarto 318), pessoal extremamente profissional e gentil, e café da manhã ok.
Deficiências: Não tem academia e o isolamento acustico dos quartos é muito deficiente (paredes de dry wall — ouve-​se a água escoando pela tubulação dos quartos vizinhos).

Excelente hotel. Quartos confortáveis com ar condicionado, tv por assinatura, internet wireless grátis nos quartos, vista bonita. Fica ao lado de um shopping muito bom. Não coloquei 5 estrelas porque o condicionador de ar não estava aquecendo e estava frio.
