I really enjoyed my(short) stay here. I was in town for a business conference, so my ability to run around town was a bit limited, but this place was well appointed, comfortable, and full of options for fun. This is important, because it is not really within walking distance of any attractions, bars, or restaurants — you would need a cab for those. The rooms are comfortable and affordable if you are an international traveler — if you are from Brazil, the rates are a bit pricy when paying in reals. Meals are very well done here, with several restaurants to choose from. The cheese bread(pão de queijo) that was served at our conference as a snack was quite good! There are two large pools out back, and there is also a nature walk, with lots of fun things for the kids. In the conference center, there is a tourist agency which is happy to provide you with lots of options to visit the Iguaçú Falls, the real reason you are here anyways… As mentioned in another review, this is an off the beaten path kind of place, and as such, is not the same sort of experience you are going to get at a Sheraton or Mariott, including lots of people who speak a variety of languages. Knowledge of Portuguese is very helpful if staying here, but if you don’t speak it, the folks here do try hard to do their best to resolve any issues or provide you with information.

This is resort and probably 95%(or even more, potentially) of the clientele they get are either Portuguese or Spanish speakers, so you should just be aware and mentally ready for that. It is a beautiful place. They got a big pool area in the middle, small zoo right outside the pool area(mostly birds) and a field from where they harvest a lot of their own vegetables and things right by it. They have a number of events running throughout the day to keep people entertained and they are very close to Iguazu Falls.(by the way, from this area, Paraguay and of course, Argentina are very close as well). You can’t walk to too many restaurants and bars from here, so if hitting bars and things is your thing, you need to plan that out a bit more.
