definitivamente este es un lugar que recomendaria a todo aquel que vaya a ver el lado brasilero de las cataratas del iguazu ya que muy cerca de la salida, esta el parque de las aves: una reserva y aviario muy bien armado, con espacios enormes para los distintos pajaros en medio de arboles gigantescos y muchisimas plantas… hay mas de 150 especies distintas a la vista, muchas de las cuales son rescatadas y criadas en el centro de estudios que hay en la reserva… la visita es de aproximadamente 90′ pero habia tanto para ver que nos quedamos como 2 horas (igual el recorrido ofrece espacios para descansar y comer)…hay aviarios en los que podes entrar y los pajaros vuelan a tu alrededor, como papagayos o tucanes, que son muy confiazudos… tambien hay un reptilario y un mariposario enormes… muy buen paseo, volveria sin duda

Estuve en Parque das Aves cuando fui a las Cataratas hara 2 o 3 años y la pase muy bien. Hice ese viaje para ver a Susana que fue la madrina de Iguazu en Concierto y además transmiti mi programa de radio en vivo y en directo desde allá.
Al estar tan cerca de Brasil y de Paraguay decidí con mi amigo y acompañante de viaje que ibamos a ir a conocer y fuimos en un tour en remise que nos salió más barato que si ibamos a todos esos lados en micro y teníamos un chofer a disposición.
Uno de los puntos a los que fuimos fue al Parque das Aves de Brasil y la verdad que me gusto muchísimo y la pase muy bien.
El lugar es enorme y está dedicado exclusivamente a las aves. Tiene todo tipo de pajaros que te puedas imaginar y muchos propios de la zona. Las aves de ahí suelen ser muy coloridas. Entre las aves más conocidas y que se destacan están los tucanes, papagayos muy coloridos y distinto tipo de aves exoticas.
Algunas tienen sus jaulas individuales y otras grupales.
También hay mariposas, y buhos que se alimentan con ratas.
A mi me gusto mucho.

This has to be my favorite thing to do in Foz these days. If you like being in touch with nature and supporting the maintenance of wildlife in Brazil, you are gonna love this place!
The park was built in 1994 by Dennis and Anna Croukamp, bird enthusiasts from South Africa. The park is home to over 1000 birds, of 150 different species, many of which have survived animal traffic and are brought here to heal and amaze tourists.
In the park you get the opportunity to walk inside giant cages and hang out with toucans, macaws and many other types of birds. You also get to see anacondas, aligators and iguanas as a bonus.
I highly recommend visiting this park! It is a treat to children and adults!

O parque é muito bonito, com diversas espécies de aves e alguns répteis. As crianças ficam encantadas. Para fazer o passeio tranquilo, reserve uma manhã. Se tiver pouco tempo, dura em torno de 1h30. No final você ainda pode tirar foto com uma arara!

Uma atração barata e muito legal!
Um viveiros de muitos pássaros, alguns repteis e borboletas. As araras e os tucanos dão os pontos altos do passeio.
Muito bom para crianças, pois podem ter contato com os animais.
1:30 de caminhada mas que ao fim vale a pena!
No final da trilha tem banheiros e uma lojinha com muita variedade de lembrancinhas.

Dica: vá pela manhã que os animais estão recem acordados e estão mansos e dispostos.

En lo que respecta a parques donde uno puede interactuar con las Aves, este se lleva el premio, el lugar es gran, las aves están prácticamente ahí!!
Me gusto mucho, es cercano al Parque Nacional de las Cataratas, del lado brasilero
Hay muchas aves, algunas tienen jaulas para ellos solos y otros están en jaulas gigantes donde uno se mete, y vuelan por sobre uno, tucanes, que se acercan y podes acariciar, papagayos azules que vuelan por tu cabeza, genial. Se nota que le ponen buen interese en el mantenimiento de cada especie.
Muchas aves exóticas, plantas salvajes floreciendo, hacen del maque un marco espectacular, es excelente para visitar con chicos, como nota llevar repelente ya que abundan los mosquitos.
Tiene un lugar lleno de mariposas, hermoso, donde vez desde las larvas hasta distintos tipos de mariposas. Colibríes, loros, de todo, para no perderselo!
Normalmente es ideal visitarlo antes de hacer las Cataratas del lado Brasilero, no lleva mas de hora, hora y media. Costo aprox $ 160

Buenísimo.
No se si da para 5 estrellas, quizás porque ya lo conocía y no me sorprendió tanto como la primera vez, pero me volvió a gustar muchísimo.
El Parque Das Aves es una especie de complemento como para la visita al lado brasileño de las Cataratas, que toma sólo una mañana. Incluso, viene incluido en muchos paquetes.
Está ubicado justo enfrente al Parque Nacional.
Hay todo tipo de aves, algunas en jaulas tipo zoológico y otras en una especie de «ecosistema» (No se si estaré usando bien el término), donde el visitante entra y las aves le pasan por encima. La de los tucanes es buenísima.
También hay algunos reptiles como serpientes, cocodrilos y tortugas de agua.
Todo el recorrido por el parque demanda aproximadamente unas dos horas.
La entrada se puede pagar en pesos, reales y tarjeta.
Ah! Tienen WiFi en todo el predio. Eso es un golazo!

We came here on a suggestion from a friend and it was definitely worth it. On the Brazilian side, you can see the falls in half a day so there’s plenty of time to check out this especially if you have little ones. As adults, I found this very intriguing so it’s not just for kids. It’s an up close interaction with these rare rescued birds. It’s often difficult to see some of these animals up close and this place provided a unique opportunity. The policy that these birds were rescued and cared for and bred to repopulate their species.
We spent ample time in the larger enclosures with the toucan and macaws. The beautiful toco toucano is so peaceful and friendly (you get get pretty close to take pictures and they’ll fly and land next to you –social little birds) that one can’t help but fall in love with the beauty of this bird. The large enclosure you walk through so no cages inhibit your photo shot.
The cassowary is an ostrich like bird known to have a very powerful kick and is aggressive to humans. Don’t worry they are safely enclosed but are close enough to get a good look.
There is also a butterfly zone to explore too where you can get a butterfly to land on you, though they move so quickly it can be difficult I get a good picture.
They also feature a variety of reptiles (snakes, alligator, turtles, etc).
The food area is at the very end and the short cuts were closed off so you need to go through the whole park. There is a snack place midpoint with coconut water and sandwiches.
The food at the main restaurant at the end was fine. Nothing fantastic but decent for theme park food. Watch out for the tricky wild birds who sneak in when you’re not looking to steal a morsel of your unattended food.
The gift shops has a few goodies worth picking up or at least some postcards of those birds you couldn’t get a decent shot of.
Make sure you tell them you are a Brazilian resident and you get half off your ticket (a great deal!)

Un parc magnifique à né surtout pas manquer lorsque l’on visite les chutes coté brésilien.
Dans ce parc, vous verrez des oiseaux de toutes les couleurs et de toutes les tailles. Vous avez vu le film Rio? Et bien c’est pareil, on voit les mêmes volatiles.
Durant la visite, on peut passer au milieu de volières et s’approcher au plus près des toucans, perroquets et perruches! Un régal pour les yeux !
Mon seul regret fut de né rester qu’une heure dans cet avant-​goût de la jungle brésilienne.

The park is amazing — especially if you’re from a place where the most colorful bird is a sparrow. There are several exhibits of different tropical birds and other animals, but the walk-​in aviaries are just amazing. It took us a few hours to get through the entire park and there are enough different exhibits to keep the kids busy and excited. We went in January, which is the hottest part of the year there — we got to the park about 30 minutes after it opened and I would suggest getting there a bit earlier than we did because the temperature rises quite quickly as the sun gets higher. The recommended pathway ends at a small café (air conditioned) selling sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, etc., which was perfect because the kids were hungry and thirsty after the tour. Regarding location, it is right across from the entrance to Iguazu Falls and every taxi driver in the city knows how to get there. Oh, and it was quite affordable too. R$ 34 per person, which is about $ 10 USD right now.

O Parque das Aves é um ótimo ponto turístico de Foz de Iguaçu. Realmente imperdível.
O local é bem organizado, com área extensa, e possui diversas espécies de aves brasileiras para a observação do turista. Além de aves, o parque também possui uma área para borboletas e outra área para répteis.
A parte mais interessante são os viveiros nos quais você pode entrar e observar as aves bem de pertinho. E ao final do passeio você pode tirar foto com uma arara na sua mão!

O único ponto fraco do parque é a lanchonete, cuja comida não é muito boa. Mas como comer não é o objetivo deste passeio, não creio que isto seja de todo mal.

Hay muchas aves en extinción en este lugar, y animales en proceso de recuperación .
Tuvimos una guía muy amable, amigable y que nos ha informado muy bien. Me encantó, vale la pena !

Contraté la excursión de las Cataratas del lado brasilero y al término me ofrecieron este hermoso paseo. Me encantan las aves, así que no me pude resistir.
No es un zoológico, es una reserva de aves y otros animales de la región. Se encargan del cuidado y de la reproducción de las aves. Tómense el tiempo de leer la historia de la familia detrás de este gran parque, al final del recorrido.
El parque es inmenso, lleno de vegetación y señalizaciones para seguir el camino pautado. El lugar tiene jaulas donde habitan las aves, pero son ENORMES. Tan grandes son que pueden volar tranquilamente. Cada una de ellas recrea el hábitat natural de cada especie. Hay varias jaulas que podemos ingresar y ver de cerca a las aves comiendo y volando sobre nuestras cabezas. Cada jaula contiene un cartel con información de cada una de las especies que la habitan. También cuentan con un mariposario, increíble la sensación de mariposas revoloteando por todos lados. Lagunas con cocodrilos y serpientes de la región.
Al final del recorrido, se encuentra un sector para comer. El lugar cuenta con un restaurante y el patio de comidas está justo al lado de los cisnes. Hermoso! Al lado del restaurante, se encuentra el gift shop. También pueden encontrar, según el horario, un lugar para sacarse fotos con aves y serpientes.

Oh man, you’ve gotta check this place out! It’s practically across the street from the falls.
Lots to look at, and just the right amount before you get «birded out» from too much. They have the world’s largest macaw sanctuary, a butterfly exhibit, turtles, and you can even take a picture with a beautiful macaw on your arm!
Iguazu Falls on the Brazil side goes a little faster than the Argentina side, so you can definitely do one of these in the morning and the other in the afternoon after lunch. (The bird park does have a lunch place. Nothing fancy, but make sure you order some fresh juice here!)
It’ll probably take you about two hours to go through here. I’m amazed how they minimize the smell of bird poop here…

Este lugar no puede ser más genial, terminé completamente entusiasmada y enamorada de las aves!
Es, como su nombre lo indica, un parque, no parece un zoológico en general ya que las jaulas donde tienen a los animales son gigantes y recrean su ambiente natural de una manera super fiel. Hay jaulas tan grandes que los visitantes pueden entrar y tener contacto directo con el animal. Si bien no esta permitido tocarlos, podes ver a los pájaros volarte al lado y caminar alrededor tuyo con total libertad, lo cual es increíble.
Esta institución, que además es un lugar propicio para que las aves se reproduzcan, rescata también animales del trafico y el mal trato, y algunos pobres pajaros que no pueden volar debido a la maldad de los humanos, están allí a cielo abierto y sin jaula, un placer de ver.
La entrada, en pesos argentinos, está $ 120, lo cual no me pareció super caro si además consideramos que estamos ayudando, la verdad que lo pagaría otra vez.
Recomiendo ampliamente a cualquiera que vaya del lado brasileño, es imperdible!

Everybody travelling to the Iguazu Waterfalls on the Brazilian Side should take some additional time to visit this great Bird Park.
The park is very easy to find — it is just a few hundred meters away from the entrance gate of the Parque Nacional do Iguaçu, and if you come to the falls by bus you can hop on or off the bus right in front of the Bird Park.
The park has over 800 birds and most of them you can watch in big aviaries. You just walk in and stand right in the middle of the bird life. Ground living birds run around your feet — big macaws or tucans fly overhead. There is so much to see and there are countless opportunities to take pictures — you could watch the whole display for hours ;-)
Especially the tucans and macaws were fun to visit and some of them came up to you and examined the visitors very closely. But there are many more very interesting birds to see — .especially the harpy eagles and the cassowaries.
The whole park is set in Atlantic Rainforest, so it is quite pleasant to walk around in the shade while the sun is beating down outside the park.
All in all we had a great time in the park — we took a lot of time to look at the birds and so it took us over 2 hours to see everything — but every minute was worth it.
A big recommendation not only for families but for all the birdy folks and photo enthusiasts out there. Be sure to have enough Brazilian Reals with you as the park doesn’t accept credit cards or foreign currency!

En mi viaje a cataratas tuve la suerte de ir al parque de las aves (o Parque das Aves para los brasileros :)), la verdad es que es un recorrido hermoso.
Lleno literalmente de todo tipo de aves, cada una con su cartel para poder ir conociendolas, con un camino muy bien señalado.
Ademas, se nota que esta muy bien cuidado, creando un buen habitat para ellas sin duda, que es lo importante.
El lugar esta lleno de colores no solo por los pajaros, sino tambien por toda la vegetacion, te encontras con plantas que no lo podes creer, DE VERDAD. Hasta podes encontrar las tipicas lianas de «tarzan» jeje.
El parque no solo se limita a las aves, tambien tenes una parte donde encontras mariposas y colibris y otra parte donde podes ver unos cocodrilos, y serpientes.
si vas, tene en cuenta de tener mucho espacio en tu camara o celular porque lo vas a llenar de fotos de TODO!

à coté du Parc national d’Iguaçu se trouve le Parc des Oiseaux.
Que vous soyez amateur, spécialiste ou simple admirateur des beautés de la nature, vous pouvez observer des centaines d’espèces d’oiseaux sur 5 hectares dans une magnifique forêt tropicale transformée en parc ornithologique. En particulier de splendides perroquets et les non moins célèbres toucans et colibris sont à découvrir.

Birds Park Parque das Aves
Ca. 500 m vor dem Eingang des Nationalpark Iguacu liegt der Parque das Aves. Man kann ihn wunderbar mit dem Besuch der Wasserfälle verbinden.
Auf einer Größe von 5 Hektar breitet sich im tropischen Regenwald ein Vogelpark aus. Mit über 800 verschiedenen Vogelarten — einheimischen, sowie fremden — ist dieser Park ein Highlight für Kinder, Erwachsene, Fotobegeisterte, Hobbybiologen. Einfach ein Spass für die ganze Familie.
Die Vögel sind fast alle in bis zu acht Meter hohen Käfigen. Teilweise kann man die Großkäfige betreten und somit die Vögel aus nächster Nähe betrachten (und sogar streicheln, was den neugierigen Tukanen besonders gefallen hat).
Besonders begeistert haben uns die Papageie und die unheimliche Vielzahl von wunderschönen Tukanen und Kolibris. Als Erinnerung gibt es noch die Möglichkeit am Ausgang einen wunderschönen bunten Papagei selber zu halten und Fotos zu schiessen.
Man benötigt ca. 1 bis 1,5 Stunden um den ganzen Park zu besichtigen. Der Eintritt liegt bei umgerechnet ca. EUR 10,-.
