O serviço do bar é horrível. Como o resort é longe de tudo, almoçar não era uma tarefa fácil, o preço do almoço é R$ 60,00 reais por pessoa e o jantar é R$ 50,00. Nào indico este hotel para quem deseja conhecer Manaus.

This hotel lies in the heart of the enormous, beautiful Amazon Jungle, on the shores of the Rio Negro. Manaus, the capital of the Brazilian state of Amazonas, is located approximately 16 km from the hotel. Around 25 km away is where the Negro and Solimões rivers meet. From the air you can actually see the Rio Negro(black river, from the jungle juices) and Rio Solimões(the clearer river from the Andes snow) collide into one gi-normous river called the Amazon. The hotel has over 500 rooms. There are rooms available in the categories of standard, superior und luxury, as well as 3 types of suites. Guests are offered a lobby with a 24-hour reception and a hotel safe. Lots of facilities including hairdresser, a games room, conference facilities, a bar and a restaurant. The rooms are en suite and come with a hairdryer and a minibar. They are equipped with a direct dialling system for local and international calls, cable TV, smoke detector, blackout curtains and a hire safe. The air conditioning is centrally regulated. Electricity supply: 110 V. Two swimming pools of which one has a wave machine — WAVEMACHINE – very cool. The hotel also provides 5 tennis courts, a volleyball court, a sauna, a beauty salon and sports enthusiasts may enjoy a work-out in the gym. The hotel also features a Zoo — like if you don’t want to step out into the Amazon? You’re in the Amazon for crypes-sake.

Absolutely loved it. We spent a night here as our world cruise ship docked overnight. Loved the wide, very South American corridors of this hotel with the wood panelling around the doors even if the carpet is looking a bit tired. Good pool with a fun, party atmosphere of Brazilians. We had a balcony room so we could smoke I would recommend one of these even for non-smokers as we saw the inside of a non-balcony room and it was nowhere near as nice. Be careful of your money exchange at the front desk as we were not given enough Reals for our money and I had to go back and correct this. On the second day we did a fabulous seaplane flight over Manaus in a craft that took off and landed on the waters of the Amazon. I’m glad this hotel is out of town as I was not impressed by the dirt and rubble of downtown Manaus. Lovely little zoo attached to this hotel with some big cats and cute little animals. Purr Purr.

A wonderful, safe location to stay amid a stunning tropical setting, directly on the banks of the mighty Amazon River and surrounded by jungle in every direction. I was lucky enough to work out here for a while and have this amazing(and quite expensive) hotel paid for. Not sure whether a hotel with its own zoo on site is politically correct or fair on the animals. Not far to pubs, clubs, bars and the like and a decent distance from the bustle of the huge city. Recommended if you find yourself in Manaus looking for good accommodation, activities and shopping on site, with a decent wad of money in your back pocket!
