Boa combinação de custo e benefício (no caso, duplo, já que fica perto da praia do Leme e a comida é boa). O linguado da casa para duas pessoas dá para três desde completado com uma salada — e se a fome for pouca.

This place is on the beach front. The service was great! Our waiter came to check on us several times and made suggestions. He spoke English, Spanish, and Portuguese which was helpful. I noticed that others who worked there were willing to help. The view was awesome. You could see the beach, walkway, hotels, etc. The red sangria was good and I recommend. At first we didn’t taste the alcohol told the waiter and he brought some pouring more into the pitcher. Had chicken meal it was delicious and large. A friend and I split the meal. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. They have televisions showing vh1. They restrooms are clean and small. There is an older woman who was knitting near the restroom area to help maintain and for security– very smart idea I must say. Nice spot to relax and unwind.

Based on the food and service these folks deliver w pride. You can spend heaps more and get less of each.
Two draft beers and one order of the seafood risotto which was offered by a very friendly server and turned out to be one of the best meals in Rio for $ 17 /​US.
Ample portion, full of not overcooked shrimp, served hot in a perfectly smooth creamy and tender risotto.

Um restaurante maravilhoso, vista espetacular da praia do leme, o ambiente é show e tosa a comida estava impecável, além é claro da sobremesa (profiteroles) muito gostosa. Local mais que recomendado.

I had steak and veggies. My friend had a burger. They had an English menu, and everything went smoothly. The food was good, but not amazing.

On my third visit here, and second (!) check in, I am now El Duque and thus can say with authority that this place is consistently good, serving up tasty fare at very reasonable prices with polite and courteous service. And they take the AmEx plastic, loved by consumers and loathed by many vendors around the world.
So if you find yourself on the Leme side of Copacabana and in need of comfortable sustinence, do not hesitate to pop in to Martinez. You will be met by friendly staff who are 100% (in my experience so far) bilingual and will offer you an English menu if your Portuguese, like mine, sounds strained. The kitchen staff are obviously well trained and care about what they serve, as it is always well prepared, hot, and tasty. And if you visit on Monday through Thursday or before 18:00 on Friday, you will find some very good values (all under 30 Real) on the Executive Menu.
My favorite (as it was so good I ordered it again on my next visit) is the Steak Poivre with Batata Rosti. The beef is maybe not the best you can get in South America, but has good flavor and, if you don’t allow them to hammer it, will be reasonably tender. But the secret is the sauce, a rich dark medium for the plentiful whole peppercorns that crunchily surrender to your bite, releasing a spicy rush akin to a great Szechuan Ma La/​hua jao/​prickly ash experience sans the numbness. This perfectly complements the potato rosti, a sort of hash brown pancake crusted on the outside with peppers inside.
Of all the restaurants I’ve tried in Copacabana, Martinez is in the top group for sure. Do not hesitate.

We love the food so much that we spent the whole day from breakfast to dinner. Their picanha steak was absolutely juicy and tender, we went back for dinner the day after, that’s how good the food was

Very good food and service! I had the curry chicken with black rice and I wanted to take it back to the hotel to save for breakfast, because I was enjoying it so much! I was talked out of that however, which was most likely a good decision.
(We tried eating at Mabs, a few blocks down for a much earlier dinner, and we waited for almost an hour and our food never came. We watched many other tables get thier food, so most likely it isn’t a typical experience there.)
Go to Martinez, you won’t be disappointed!

Oh, there are so many cafes on the beach, but this one is my favorite. Food is awesome, service is great and it’s in the middle of everything. French fries are the best here, and the steaks are good. The best thing to do, however, is to order a couple of appetizers at a time, they are ALL good, but be careful– some of them are large portions, so order sparingly– they are quick as well, so you can order more when you are ready.

Um bom restaurante na orla do Leme, aconchegante, onde somos muito bem atendidos pelos garçons sempre muito bem humorados. Comida da melhor qualidade, mas às vezes demora um pouco pra chegar. Enquanto aguarda, peça uma cerveja gelada. É muito bem frequentado por turistas hospedados em hotéis próximos e por pessoas que trabalham em empresas situadas na região. Uma ótima opção para o almoço ou para um happy hour, vendo o pôr-​do-​sol.
