OMG

OMG Lounge from Leblon opened with a very clever concept behind it. Apart from being a burger place, it serves a special breakfast and brunch menu in the mornings, lunch in the afternoons (both only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) and happy hour snacks in the evenings. From Tuesdays to Thursdays it only opens from 5 PM onwards, so you only have the happy hour menu. I have uploaded the menus as pictures here so you can have an idea of what is served. I was very impressed with the quality of the food. It had a gourmet mood overall, very good ideas and perfect execution, with the advantage of being served as executive menu (cheaper) and also accepting chefsclub membership discount. I would say it is a bargain for what you get. The pear and gorgonzola salad or the grilled salmon with mashed baroa potatoes were both delicious (pictured here). Apple juice was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious, even without sugar. Even with the cons of some very good options from the menu missing because of missing ingredients, like the steak with pupunha palm heart spaghetti or milkshakes, I rate OMG as a top option. A highly recommended venue for a pleasant, delicious and affordable meal on the outside (restaurant is opened planned with communication with the sidewalks as pictured here on Unilocal), or a great place to hangout with friends for some drinks.

Feel like this place needs an updated review since we’ve been going to it a number of times and this morning we tried the brunch menu.
The eggs Benedict was very tasty although the eggs were poached a little too long (weren’t very runny) but the hollandaise sauce was surprisingly well done and presentation excellent. It wasn’t too heavy either, so it’s a good breakfast meal that doesn’t leave you in a food coma.
The dessert Belgian waffle was delicious. Sometimes it’s hard to find a good tasting by itself and here, they have to right ingredient in the batter to make it fluffy and filling. It comes drizzled in honey and sprinkled with fruit (kiwi, apple, pineapple and strawberry). They also give you a cheesy whipped cream (not my favorite) and a chocolate hazelnut spread on the side which pairs well with the waffle and fruit.
The fresh juice was good; I tried apple and was nicely presented with pieces of apple.
Overall some people have complained about service which it a little slow on busier times but on par with the typical Rio style service you fine in most Ipanema and Copacabana places. If you’re patient enough, it’s worth the visit for the food.

Having read some positive reviews on Unilocal?!?I decided to try out this burger place. I arrived for lunch and found the restaurant quite empty. Requested a more traditional burger; most burgers on the menu have weird concoctions, like Indians spices, Arabic theme — so this is not a good place to get a traditional burger.
All burgers come with salad, and not with the usual choice of side of fries. The waitress informed me that I could get a side of fries if I wanted, and the menu states that you can get a smaller side portion at a lower price with your burger. So I request the side of fries with my medium rare burger. My burger arrives quite quickly, the waitress informs me that the fries should arrive soon thereafter. My burger was basically raw, but tasty. But my fries arrive when I am almost done with my dish.
After my initial order, everything that I requested I had to ask for it twice. Salt, coke, etc. And remember that the place was empty! When the bill finally arrived I noticed the steep price of the coke and the full charge on the side of fries. I inform the waitress that I was being charged a full order of fries, not the side portion that she had advertised. She told my that I had not been clear on ordering. I told her that I merely accepted her suggestion, and that if there was any doubt on her part that it was her job to confirm it. So I asked her what was to be done. She smugly replied that I should pay for the full order and that next time I should be more clear on what I wanted when ordering. Once again a smug pause, there was no chance that she was going to retract her stance. So I suggested that she should charge me the half portion and that a tip would not be given. I proceed to inform her that this was a matter of principle. She smugly replied «ok.»
So to the owner of «OMG this is bad»: if you are not willing to train and educate your staff, please allow someone else to take over your establishment. Maybe he will have better luck in hiring and training a decent staff.

Localizado quase no fim do Leblon, essa casa fica bem numa esquina e oferece um belo espaco, majoritariamente com mesas na rua.
Eles tem cervejas da casa (que nao experimentei) e rola um happy hour com Heineken (13.50 por duas. Belo preco pra um lugar com pinta de «fancy»). Ao que parece os hamburgueres sao o carro-​chefe da casa. E com justica! Experimentei um chamado Leblon, que nao lembro 100% agora o que vinha (culpa do happy hour rsrs), mas o que me marcou foi a fantastica qualidade do burger e do queijo! A salada vem a parte e fiquei indiferente a isso… na hora achei estranho, mas nao estava ruim, entao acho que fico no «meh… tanto faz».
A batata eh bem boa, mas eh uma boa quantidade pra se comer como acompanhamento sozinho (dividi uma e assim foi ideal). Eles tem uma boa carta de drinks tambem.
O servico foi mais ou menos. Creio que devido ao fato de que estavamos em um grande grupo e eles estavam se perdendo um pouco, mas nao achei que tenha estragado em nada a noite, ate pq eles aparentavam ser solicitos (ou, de novo, era o happy hour falando: D)
Na 5a feira (dia que fomos) estava tendo um sonzinho bem bacana!
Com ChefsClub ganha-​se 30% de desconto aqui, o que ajuda bastante, pois os burgers orbitam a faixa dos 30 pra cima! Chega-​se ate quase 60 um de Kobe Beef (e que provavelmente ainda deve ser um blend, pois o Kobe custa por volta de R$ 300/​kg).
Raramente vou ate o Leblon, mas gostei bastante desse lugar, e quem sabe nao faco uma dobradinha Jobi + OMG em uma proxima vez!

Hamburgueria recente e com um ambiente pequeno e agradável, com uma variedade de drinks enorme e o hamburguer (pedi um Leblon) veio caprichado e achei bem saboroso.
Dependendo do dia, no caso uma quinta-​feira, rola jazz ao vivo.
Um ponto negativo, mas que ainda pode melhorar, é o atendimento que foi meio confuso e demorado.

É um espaço novo e um pouco pequeno, a hamburgueria cresce pra calçada, o que pode ser um pouco chato se a rua estiver muito movimentada. Quando fui estava calmo então você podia curtir a ótima música do ambiente, um jazz ao vivo muito bom.
Eu pedi uma batata frita que vinha com um olho de alho um pouco apimentado que era MUITO gostoso. Também pedi o Soho Burguer, até estava pensando que os temperos indianos mais a maionese picante fosse deixar o hambúrguer picante demais, mas não. Tudo bem equilibrado. O hambúrguer vem acompanhado de uma salada bem temperada, bem gostosinha.
Pelo valor que você paga, achei o hambúrguer pequeno…
Além do tamanho do hambúrguer, um outro ponto negativo é o atendimento.
Estava com um grupo grande e o garçom estava bem atrapalhado, muitos pedidos demoraram demais e vinha tudo meio fora de ordem. Primeiro o hambúrguer, depois a bebida, depois a batata… E o garçom não passava nenhuma segurança que ia acertar tudo. Toda hora alguém o chamava e perguntava onde estava o que foi pedido.

Um lugar muito gostoso e aconchegante com uma clima bem legal, gostei muito do meu leblon burguer que tem os ingredientes do qual mais gosto, com carne da raça red angus, queijo gruyère, cogumelo e maionese de alho.
Gostei muito da textura e o ponto da carne é perfeito e quando você morde vem uma explosão de sabores e você sabe que os ingredientes estão todos lá, você sente a carne e o que pra mim foi um ponto muito bom é que meio ao queijo e carne você sente o gosto terroso do cogumelo que adoro, nossa que textura!
Esta aí sou fã, mas tenho que dizer que o atendimento é mediano.
Apesar de ter gostado da evolução dos pedidos serem feitos no tablet, não é tudo feito por ele, porque poderia também se fazer o fechamento de conta também pelo tablet que pelo contrário não foi, uma amiga nossa que estava na mesa e tinha feito o pedido demoraram muito para trazer o pedido dela, me trouxeram o meu pedido e sem o meu refrigerante, nesses detalhes sim tem que melhorar muito.
Mas valeu muito a minha experiência.

Essa pequena hamburgeria é uma das mais novas atrações do bairro. Conheci o local por ocasião do aniversário da querida Elite Naomi K. e gostei bastante do que encontrei! O ambiente é ótimo, a decoração é de bom gosto e, na quinta à noite em que estivemos aqui, estava rolando um jazz ao vivo da maior qualidade — e num volume bacana, de modo que dava para conversar sem problemas. A casa é pequena, então reserve com antecedência caso venham em grupo.
O cardápio tem diversas opções de hambúrgueres, incluindo alguns vegetarianos, mas há poucas coisas fora isso (trata-​se de uma hamburgueria afinal)! De cara me encantei com a descrição do hambúrguer Leblon, com maionese de alho, cogumelo e queijo, e foi ele mesmo que escolhi. Pelo preço, na casa dos R$ 30 (sem a batata, que custa R$ 10), eu esperava mais. Confesso que não fiquei muito impressionada em termos de sabor, apesar de ter achado gostoso.
Já no quesito drinks, a casa me agradou mais: a sangria de pêssego e morango que eu pedi estava deliciosa e valeu super a pena. O atendimento deixou bastante a desejar, e eu tive a nítida sensação de que os garçons não estavam conseguindo dar conta do recado com a casa cheia. Como o espaço é novo, acredito que ainda dá tempo para acertar as ponteiras nesse quesito. Em suma, um espaço bem interessante, porém com preços um pouco salgados.

Fundo musical e atendimento excelente! Sucos bem refrescantes e um café delicioso!

Really good place for burgers, petiscos, and beer. The restaurant doubles as a brewery and their American Pale Ale was actually pretty solid. As is often the case in Rio, several things on the menu weren’t available, but this time the waiter actually let us know before we ordered.
The location is pretty nice too, just a short walk from the beach and Alto Leblon. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.
Extra points given for their funny napkins and cute notes that came with the meal (see picture).

Nova hamburgueria na cidade. Fomos num sábado depois das 23h. O ambiente era tranquilo, fundo musical era Louis Armstrong. Pra começar, pedimos uma batata frita com alecrim e alho que estavam ótimas. Depois pedimos um hambúrguer. O meu foi o Tribeca Burger e achei delicioso. Todos os hambúrgueres são servidos com uma saladinha bastante saborosa. Vale a pena conferir, mas vá com o bolso preparado.
