Parador Bistrô

This location in Centro is a good option for a non-​kilo lunch. They serve risottos, executive plates, pasta and salads and crepes.
The first time I went, i ordered an Executivo dish, it was their Filé Parador. It wasnt bad, i just felt like it was a small portion. or at least how it was presented on the plate, made it feel small. The second time i went back, i ordered a «montado» dish — which was salad, risotto and file mignon. It was GOOD! the presunto de parma crocante risotto was great and perfect mix with the meat.
Dishes are on the pricier end (R$ 35-​R$ 45) but i can tell you that all the plates from our party were clean at the end. They also have some daily specials which are not on the menu, so make sure to ask the waiter.
As we enter summer, the weather has been a bit humid, and if you seating in their ‘outside’ area, it can get a bit stuffy feel, even tho there are fans. Also, i find that depending on who sits near you (i.e. if you get a noisy group), it can be a bit noisy. It is a small space, with an open area seating area.
They also have Wi-​fi. :)
But, it is still a good option to have for a nice meal while in Downtown Rio.
